Ich habe jetzt die Offroad Räder das Profil abefahren und dann mir Sekundenkleber 4 Schichten aufgetragen. Jetzt nutze ich das als Driftreifen. Funktioniert gut. Viiiieeeee besser als die original Driftreifen die so gar kein Profil haben. Auf die original Driftreifen werd ich mal probieren einen Fahrrad Mantel aufzukleben.

Das ist eine gute Idee. Die originalen Plastikdrifträder machen nur auf sehr engen Raum/Platzverhältnisse Spaß und Sinn. Hast Du gut gemacht!

Die 4 Schichten Sekundenkleber halten ca. 4 Akkuladungen 3S. Aber härter scheinen die zu bleiben. Wenn die ganz frisch mit Sekundenkleber gemacht sind ist es erst extrem rutschig. Nach wenigen Drifts ist es etwas angeraut und es macht Spaß. Wahrscheinlich müsste man die Vorderräder etwas griffiger machen dimit er nicht soooo untersteuert und lenkbarer bleibt. Aber alles kein Vergleich zu den Plastik Rädern.

Geile Idee.....du benutzt sie dann als Straßenreifen, richtig ? Mit welchem Orginalreifen würdest Du die selbstgemachten vergleichen vom Grip her ? Und du benutzt die Drifträder um diese herzustellen ? Ich habe jetzt erst 2 Akkuladungen durch und das Profil ist jetzt schon fast durch. Die Rallyereifen machen am meisten Spaß bis jetzt. Rutscht etwas mehr als die Straßenreifen und haben nicjt so viel Abrieb.

Ja, zur Herstellung habe ich die Drifträder benutzt. Man kann die hergestellten Räder eigentlich mit keinen Originalreifen vergleichen. Es ist eine Mischung aus Drift- und Straßenreifen. Ich finde, dass sich die Rallyreifen schneller abfahren, als die Straßenreifen. Mittlerweile sind die Räder (u.a. Aliexpress) bei manchen Händlern zum Glück wieder günstig geworden. Man sollte sich einfach volle Kante einen Vorrat anlegen! Gibt auch 3er, 4er Packs. Abgefahrene Reifen lassen sich zum Glück noch relativ lange fahren.

Wenn das Profil runter ist bei den Orginalen. Was kommt dann ? Kommt dann irgendwann so Schaumstoff oder iss dann irgendwann Felge ?

Da kommt dann wunderbares und sehr stabiles Moosgummi zum Vorschein! Viel besser, als diese Schaumgummieinlagen!

I ride the stock tires until they completely disintegrate. In principle, you could certainly do something here with a bicycle or motorcycle hose.

Which surface would you prefer if you had to choose from both (based off performance) the original drift tires or the adhesive tubing?

If you mean the home-made tires seen here in the shorts, then I think that on asphalt they are a mixture of grip and drift - you can drive with them for a long time. The three versions of tires included: The drift tires definitely only make sense on smooth floors (linoleum, parquet floors, concrete and asphalt). I prefer to drive it on extremely smooth floors such as linoleum or parquet floors but also carpet. The rally tires are definitely ONLY on small, pebbly gravel. The Streetbash tires offer the best performance on asphalt! But it's really expensive because you're already worried about the next tire order when you're driving - but it's so much fun! 😁

I'm having a hell of a time finding replacement tires that fit. Any suggestions?

There is probably no better alternative than simply using the original wheels! Alternative bikes cost more and don't last longer or better.

Pretty cool. Whats the advantage of this? You call them speed tires, so higher top speed? Or better drifiting perhaps? Are they good for the street or only carpet? Thx!

Well, it was a desperate attempt to create a long-lasting tire that wouldn't break so quickly. It has become a mixture of drift and street tires. Works and can be fun. But the best tire is still the original one! By the way, they have now become cheaper again!

@@germanrccreations4519 Ah, I see. Yeah, they're not that expensive. 18 euro for a set on Ali. Or 26 with a new body on BG. And I saw one on Ali with 37 euro for 4 sets of 4 wheels. For 14302 though.

@@froggyfresh5193 14302 is the white Lancia rally one. There are two versions of the 14301, the first black with blue highlights and the latest all black one. There is a video out there with all 3 versions.

@@froggyfresh5193 The 14302 is the white Lancia! The body is much worse than the 14301. Apart from the front check holder and rim design, there is no difference in the chassis!
