Kevin Dorsey is a vocalist who has collaborated with some of the biggest stars in the music industry, such as Whitney Houston, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra. He's also worked with modern artists, like Adam Levine and Kanye West, as well as movies such as Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Lion King & Spider-Man. During this period, Kevin went around the world with MJ 6 times, and sang on numerous records, such as Bad, HIStory & Invincible. Kevin began working with Michael by laying down vocals for the Victory Tour, before touring the world with Michael for the Bad World Tour, Dangerous World Tour, HIStory World Tour & MJ & Friends Tour. When 2009 rolled around, Kevin was initially involved with Michael's comeback tour, This Is It, although this was no longer the case by the time the official rehearsals began. So does this mean the reports of him wanting new talent band wise was a lie or did he just mean he wants what made his previous bands so good?

@@f10pped36 AEG scrapped out the old band. AEG just wanted to introduce "new" peoples to have a bigger influence on Michael. AEG did all to manipulate Michael the most, they even said to him that with 50 shows he would just earn 135 million for just making him think that he doesn't work much. Michael wanted Brad Buxer, LaVelle and others but AEG did all to just have a pression on Michael. They used Michael as a business, not a human.

#MJinnocent ❗ Hearing Kevin Dorsey talk about "This Is It" put a lump in my throat. Everyone except Johnathan Moffett and Tommy Organ were kept? I don't know who Tommy is. Was he with MJ on any other tours? I love Johnathan Moffett. He goes way back to the Jackson 5! Anyway, my jaw dropped when Kevin said that Michael Jackson only went to THREE rehearsals!😳 He was training dancers in his home studio? That seems to me like he was not comfortable on the set. I don't try to be negative, but I read the book, Remember The Time, by the 2 protectors of MJ, and they said that the "vultures" would come out when rehearsals started. WOW. Also,, it makes me think about some lyrics in MJ songs from early on, he said people always tried to control him, and use him (like in "Starting Something", and "Jam". But, he STILL uplifted others!! That wonderful man had to fight his whole life just to fulfill what he believed he was put on earth to do. "Keep fighting until You are the king of the hill. No force of nature can break your will to self-motivate!"

I will always believe that Michael is innocent, people hated him for what the media put out there and because M.J. was ALWAYS on the top of his game. In the famous lyrics from Whitney Houston,... Because people the artist of the industry always waited for what Michael was going to come out with and win style address what dance sequences his videos songs new dance steps everything. Every artist from country to rock to hip hopRNB evenHollywood waited to see what Michael was going to do because he was always ahead of the game. Michael's humanitarianism and genuineism just topped it off just Is a great human being. The other 50% died when Prince died. There is no more creativity. The creativity came from Michael and Prince.

Hello Red! First of all let me tell you that it’s great to see such a young guy like you keeping the memories of MJ alive. I’m a generation Michael Kid, I’m 40 now. Let me tell you those days the 80s, 90s and every time MJ would release a CD I would be jumping for joy, when I was a teen my room was plastered with MJs poster. I’m not one of those crazed MJs fans that would run after him to get a handshake or wait outside of his hotel room screaming. But MJ changed my life forever, his songs made me pursue all my dreams, his lyrics were like poets to me. I achieved all my dreams in life, jobs , everything because of Michael inspiration. Love the nature, help the poor, and MJ taught me all of that. I had tickets to see his show 3 weeks before he passed. Woke up at dawn to buy the tickets online as they were just 15 and the tickets were sold out in hours. Cutting the story short, when MJ died I was at work. My mum called me and say son I have bad news, when u get home turn on the TV. I cried for days and days, and still do occasionally when I watch some of his videos, live performances. Like I said I’m so lucky to have lived in an era where good music existed, MJ music were about love, racism, save the world, heal the world, look at ourselves in the mirror and become better people. These days the music industry is dead. All that is released is disposable songs easily forgotten after 2 months and that’s so sad. There will never, ever be another artist like Michael, when he filled stadiums he would be quiet without singing a note and fans would go crazy, faint , even without him singing a note. That’s an Icon! These days it’s all about nudity, vain , bling bling , cash cash flying. And you prob won’t read this. But knowing that someone your age is his fan and doing a fantastic job. Most of the boys your age are into the disposable type of songs I previously said. You make me proud and happy that MJ is still appreciated and loved by someone as young as you. I stumbled on your page by mistake. You got a new follower here! And u sure got good taste in music!!!! Keep it up , don’t be a follower of these new trends you won’t learn nothing from those songs. All the best to you and thank you as a MJ fan to keep his memory alive. There is not one day that I don’t listen to a song from MJ. But I sure miss going to the CD stores and buy his albums, Lps, magazines! Greetings from Portugal! Keep it up red. Michael was the greatest man that ever walked this earth. He was too good for this cruel world. I sure hope he’s at peace now. No one can hurt him anymore. Peace !!!!

Wow you are great at doing interview! I saw Michael in Helsinki History tour 1997. I was with my sister and her daughter and when we was sitting on the grass of the stadium him personel looked at me from the stage curtains. Soon 2 big men came to me and ask why I sit on the grass. I said well I am here to see the concert. They then said we have a better spot for you , I said ok but Im with my sister and nice. They said all you can come and then they took us to the VIP stand. And above it was the light table. They said you can sit here on the light table. Then some of his crew came to take a photo with me , I remember this long haired dancer he has in some of his music videos he came also. That was a great experience. You may ask why they did that, well lets just say my looks was pretty stunning decades ago LOL. The show was amazing from the best seats on the Olympic Stadium. Never will anyone come even close to what he did.

@@RedJacksonDance someone needs to just come clean and come out with what AEG was doing. It's been said for years from MJ supporters that Michael didn't fire anyone and it was all AEG behind it. i think i read somewhere that even his closest friends and his mother couldn't get in touch with him. I also question Michael Amir Williams allegiance and how even Bill and Javon were left in Las Vegas and told they weren't to go with MJ and to stay behind. Regarding the lip syncing it's evident that it was used in The Dangerous tour & more heavily so in The History Tour. What I would have loved to hear even if it was lip synched how Michaels voice would have sounded at that point in this career. Take The Off The Wall Medley in The History Tour. Vocals were clearly taken from the original album recording. What I would have loved to hear, even if it was lip synched Michael re-recording his vocals for those particular track much like he did with Startin Something when Akon covered it. Imagine hearing Billie Jean in The History Tour with his 96, 97 voice. He even recorded Janet's part in Scream which I thought was awesome.

She looked stage right and did a hand signal and suddenly her vocals were there. My best friend and I always debated if it was just a bad Mic or a lip sync issue.

I still believe this was a corporate execution for his masters and all these figures brought in to replace his successful band and production. I hate MJ was taken advantage of and when of his great charms was his weakness in trusting the untrustworthy that flourish in all walks of life but especially music industry.

I knew something was wrong. I just knew it after his passing and Michael’s family spoke about everything after his passing. It seemed they (label) were out to put Michael in a place that wasn’t a good one. The doctor failed miserably of caring for Michael, and the new staff they had come in when Michael didn’t want new staff, he didn’t want new dancers, new backup singers etc. He wanted the same he has always had and trusted all these years before his passing. Michael didn’t want change if it came under the hammer without him being the one not holding the hammer. We all knew that, being hard core fans of his and following his career for so long. There’s been too many things being said over the years that always seemed suspicious. There was a video a while ago released about Michael saying weird things whilst under the care of the Doctor - I call him Doctor Death, I think it was Michael’s family that came out later saying Michael was saying things along the lines of “they’re trying to kill me”. “I’m worth more dead than alive”. Idk why this wasn’t looked into further when Michael was alive and it wasn’t seriously. I think it was classed as Michael ranting under the influence of the pain medication he was on at the time. There was also video recordings of Michael speaking with slurred speech whilst under the medication. Idk who leaked these recordings, or how they came about being out there after his passing… but in my opinion I think it’s absolutely disgusting how Michael was treated in life and in death. How dare this happen to one of the most kind hearted persons humanity has ever encountered. I just get so upset even now thinking of this. Kevin, you’re such an awesome person to give us insight what we always knew was right about Michael and how they treated him. I wish he was with us still, we all miss him greatly as i’m sure you do the most having to know him personally and having worked with him for so many years. The void in our hearts can never be filled now… sadly Michael is with us in spirit and in his music and memories. Thank you for sharing your experience and talking openly. He will always be missed greatly, even generations to come. Michael You are the true KING…. ❤❤❤

That canceled HBO special was really going to be special if it would've turned into fruition. Obviously same with this is it.. Michael's creative genius the future literally had to wait for the new technology for what he wanted to do he was just too open minded childlike imagination just rose and the adult people that leads could not fathom and could not do that's why there were so many different Debates / creative differences because he was just too creative and people did not have the faith or the brain power to do so.

I was sitting 5 rows behind Diana & Charles & when the song began she whispered to Charles sat on the edge of her chair & rocked to the song .. yet in later interviews Michael claims to have not sung Dirty Diana that night .. but he definitely did!! .. why did he lie? .. Kevin explains here that Charles initially asked him not to .. so Michael made his own narrative of the event .. because he was Michael Jackson & he could do anything he wanted🔥🌟❤️

Ok so going by the televised or videotaped concerts (essentially anything available to watch), it's clear that Michael mimed more and more as time went by and he got older. They slowed the songs right down too. Compare the Billie Jean of the Victory Tour to the one on History. The former is on steroids, History is played back at regular speed (if not slower). On the Bad tour he comes out of the gates singing WBSS live - in Dangerous it is quite obviously the backing track of Jam, the recorded version that you can hear on the album playing. So I'm not sure what he's talking about when he says stuff was only played back when Jackson needed a quick break. In the Dangerous tour many songs were mimed, and in History pretty much everything was. I'll get people arguing with me but just watch the concerts.

Obviously he's trying to back MJ with the whole lip syncing thing, but every piece of audio I've ever heard from the history tour the backing vocals are also muted and everything is studio, dont think that was a glitch. I know he was a perfectionist, but that's just too far, making them put all that work in just to be tracked. I wish that he understood that people don't pay to go to concerts to hear the same exact thing on the album they already have at home.

Hard to understand though if he got turned away at the gate and told Michael had a change of heart, that Michael would not have realized Kevin wasn’t there and asked where he was. But then why did they choose to edit munich 97 so heavily? You can clearly tell wanna be starting something and only 30 seconds of billie jean beat it and all of the jackson 5 stuff was live vocals. Me myself I prefer the format of the dangerous world tour because if they'res any playback at all you really can't tell what so ever. Even this is it seemed to bring back the dangerous model and as a ticket holder I couldn't wait. I can totally understand Michael using playback for few shows but then why use it all the way in 97 on a concert footage. You can tell when this guy sings background he's a true deep voice.if anything I don't mean this to be mean he made the situation more confusing because I think he may have been referring to bad or dangerous tour.
