What unearthly vocal effects did they use on the main singer? Everything else sounded close enough to the the original song, but the lead vocals sound like some shit you'd see at 6am on nickelodeon.

Those backing vocals! Their timing is perfect. For example the " huh" on 2:14 - 2:15. What is said before: the bassist and the backing vocals, they nailed it

Just discovered this by change. Dudes!! Excellent rendition of this Jamiroquai song. Impossible to get it better. Solid performance. All of you. Respect for those backing vocals and a 10 for the bass player. Fans of Jamiroquai and other artists miss having material that sounds like this, more intimate. Nice sound and mix too.

Best cover backing vocals I've heard. Obviously cannot top the original - certainly not on the studio version - but for a live take I agree
