Shabath shalom dear Rabbi and my dear brothers and sisters I'm from India Israel and the Jewish people are my heart Regarding meat and dairy I've heard one explanation and like to mention it here There's some pagan ritual of offering meat cooked in its mother's milk to some diety and Thora prohibits it to never do it even unknowingly. Also mixing of seeds extends to mixing of beliefs, practices and faith. For example in Christianity the foundation is the God of Abraham, but they mixed it with pagan dates of Christmas as Dec 25 (date of reincarnation of nimrod) Easter (dedicated to the fertility godess) and they never follow those festivals in the Thora. This is from my memory and may slightly deviate though.

My Jewish grandmother drank milk all of her life and lived to be 103, dying on her feet as she was helping someone.

You can hope that they will mellow with age. My mother certainly did, and it was a good thing bc I cared for her in my home for 5 1/2 years. I know of one orthodox couple, who decided to place the son’s (son was a Rabbi) in a good Jewish care home. He had PTSD and would have wrecked havoc in their home. Who is to judge - except Hashem?

True about kosher cert! My Rabbi worked for a transportation company. On one occasion he was delivering for a food company that produced frozen corn dogs. They were dumping the entire production in the garbage because they made it before their Rabbi put his blessing on it and he insisted they start over in order to have the certification on the product. Sounds reasonable except that it was a meat blend including pork products and the certification Rabbi knew it. 😢 My Rabbi was infuriated! Eyes opened to lack of integrity in kosher cert.
