This is one of the reasons why I love Japan's entertainment industry. They are very diversed. As long as that person is talented, then the nationality or race doesn't matter. And I am so happy to see that there are a bunch of half-filipinos in their industry 😭

I really love and respect japan for allowing to any talented person to debut and realise their dream whithout considering their nationality when another Asian industry is pushing people to undergo Plastic surgeries and bleaching procedures because they should look pale and white and mistreat idols with different nationality.

Candice Aquino I used to live in Japan, they are racists too. They have a polite image to the world, they are just practicing the tradition, they are not using a polite greeting to foreigners, it was like they were just forced to do it for the sake of good image.

I can see a lot of half Filipinos and Filipino-born JPop acts doing well on their careers in Japan. Beverly, for example, started off as a recording artist from GMA Records, a music subsidiary of a Philippine television network GMA, and she was trained and worked with Filipino composer Vehnee Saturno. When she moved to Japan, she signed under Avex Trax. Little did I know that she also sang the opening theme of Kamen Rider Build in 2017. As a tokusatsu lover, I was surprised and happy as well since it is rare for a non-Japanese to sing a tokusatsu theme song. I also followed her singles as well such as Brand New Day and Toutoi.

Upcoming new boy group Psychic Fever has a member, Sam, who is 100% Caucasian (white) American, does not look anything Asian, and is originally from L.A. He didn't know how to speak Japanese then, but when he joined EXPG, was chosen to be a member of Psychic Fever, and moved to Japan, he started studying Japanese. Two yrs later, he's now fluent in Japanese. Check out their new song "Hotline" on KZread, you'll see him there. I commented before, you have to live in Japan and speak Japanese to be in J-Pop
