Recently found your channel! Loving your process and the cats! Relieved to hear the 'it's just paint, it can be fixed' approach AND lack of music too. Though I could mute music I disliked, I would miss your thoughts and insightful comments. Thanks also for the logical thoughts about wet strength tissue. I'll stick to the regular stuff for now.

I had to actually go back and look to see what it looked like when it was pink, lol! Yeah, it’s so hard to say. There are several points, when I look back, that I think: hey! I could’ve stopped there!

First of all: please, I beg you, stick with no music! I find it irritating, distracting and totally unnecessary - I’m here for the art, music I can get elsewhere. Second: love the finished piece - that was quite a journey, but the end result was worth it.

opinion: (you asked)...I strongly dislike music in art videos. I like to have my own thoughts while watching/listening, and too often the music just interferes with my own mood. For some reason, lots of videos have this jarring, fast paced music that is totally off from the work happening. You can say: just turn the sound off. But then I think I am going to miss what the artist is saying. sigh. Oh well. That's my opinion. :o)

YES, monotony indeed! Some videos select an 8-16 bar clip that continues ad nauseam! 'Silence is Golden' ... oh, and that's a song too. 😉
