Cat, dear friend, this video was artist food for my soul (and others, as I read the comments). Besides showing us this particular art journal, you did a Cat Chat, spoke on applying art principles, as well as discussing the tip of visual art aesthetics. BRAVO ! OMGosh Cat, that was one quick20 minutes! You were over before you began...or so it seemed. I loved all the info you put into this tute! Passionate about the pages you got a chance to share with us! Hi dear Lynn!! Dandy Don always thinks I have gone on too long!! I think it is really that he gets tired of shooting and it is hard to pin me down with a fixed camera!! Yes, I grew up in a home with absolutely no privacy.. so it took me years to be able to write in a journal and when I did.. I covered it with drawings.. that is when I began my practice of art journaling. We will journal again soon!! Next up stitching those yummy tea dyed fabrics!! xx

This is such a unique journal - so glad u shared some special tips on how to enclosed pages with pieces of fabric.

Hi Angela, Happy New Year to you too!! I sometimes write all over the page and then I cover it with gesso or paint or collage.. I often allow bits to show through because I love the writing and the marks.. but I love the combination of word and image. Glad you liked it and Don greets you in return!! XO
