I loved your tutorial and your sweet owl. The way you framed the owl was brilliant! I usually start with watercolor, just to get shapes and interest on the page. Then I move on to collage and mark making. Thank you for sharing your process, I so enjoy watching you 🥰.

I think it depends on what material and what color you are laying the deli paper over. Also, how you adhere it makes a difference too--a liquid medium seems to be more transparent than a glue stick in my experience.
