Do you know an Australian man who is extremely enthusiastic about gardening? You both have the same taste in music.
I blame you for seeing every container as a possible growing container 😜 Amazing by the way, how many actually can be so thanks for the inspiration 👍
Can’t thank you enough for your videos. You are a great inspirations and make me feel like I can build and now make my own feed for my plants!! Thank you with all of my heart! You surely have given a lot of woman the confidence that we can do our own hydroponic systems on our own.!! Sending to many thanks snd hug!! 💕
This is great. I started growing cannabis and wanted to stay as organic as possible. I got a aerogarden to germinate and I just loved the growth rate. My first grows I transplanted to soil as I did not know I could do this. I think I will definitely try it for my next grow. Thank you
The best and easy explanation. God bless you.

For the measurements, 1/2 cup + 1/4 cup, you could just use 3/4 cup measurement.
Good guide on making 400x of A & B solutions and dilution of stock solutions for 1 and 5 gallon of 1x nutrients.
Thank you so much! This information will help me a lot.❤
how many plants can i grow 5 gallons of water , and when to change water if nutrient becomes less
Awesome , articulate and simple
How long can the water in the hydroponic system be used? How often must it be changed ?
Watching here kapatid this is very helpful and informative thanks for sharing
My hydroponic journey began approximately two months ago when I stumbled upon your instructional videos. I eagerly followed your guidance and planted tomatoes, cucumbers, and a variety of peppers 🌶️. It brings me immense joy whenever I gaze upon the flourishing plants. However, I have recently encountered a challenge. All the plants have entered the flowering stage, but I've yet to see any signs of fruit production. The flowers simply keep dropping. Is there a possibility that I might be overlooking something crucial in this process?

The Masterblend ratios (MB:CaNO3:MgSO4) call for 2:2:1 but you're doing 2:3:1. Is there a particular reason for this?
How frequently do we need to replenish the nutrient solutions..
Thanks! I can't wait to try this.
Thank you, you are amazing, you really helped me a great way

I put everything together in a 5 gallon bucket and mixed. I noticed some white crystals on the bottom of the bucket 🪣. I'm assuming it is the calcium that didn't dissolve. Should I add more now, using the hot water method 🤔

Thank you. This is helpful.
Quite interesting... However, I would like to know if you did that for strawberry crop.... and if the NPKCa Mg formula changes a little bit..or is it the same....? Do you have another video for that crop? Thank you very much Best
What is the solution ratio for the metric minded? How many ml/L for leafy greens/fruiting plants? Does the ratio change when switching from vegetative to flowering?
Thank you for sharing
General rule from what I've read is: not to mix nitrate with sulphate. But in your case, you are mixing NPK with Magnesium sulphate??
@jeem5932
Ай бұрын
it's true, but many common NPK formulations are designed to be compatible with magnesium sulfate. that's why proper dosing and mixing were also introduced to prevent any potential issues

I was watching this and thought - this is great - now I have the details for what I need - then 'gallons' ! - pity about this confusion when the start was so clear and unambigious - Can you tell me please either what this should be in Litres or is this US or UK Gallons

Good idea.
Can you just add both solutions into one mixture instead of two? Any reason why they have to be separated?
@healinghobbies
Жыл бұрын
Combining both concentrated solutions can lead to a chemical reaction, causing nutrient lockout. This, in turn, can compromise the effectiveness of the nutrient solution. I hope this helps!🌱🙂
Please which other chemical can I use in place of calcium nitrate? Can I use calcium carbonate?

Great vídeo
Hey buddy, can I use any Epsom salt, NPK and Calcium from masterblend or I can use any???
Do you change the mix as the plants mature? And do you have to add nutrient mix as the plant drinks it all? Please explain.

No change it’s the same mixture. I do refill the nutrients specially when the plants started to flower and set fruits. They take up a lot of nutrients.

Hi , I am a new subscriber to your channel, I have seen your do videos of growing different things and they all come out looking great. I don't see you checking for PH levels or the other things that I see other KZreadrs doing when using this method of growing, so I am now wondering if this step is necessary? I await your earliest response.

If you have the device and specially if you are growing commercially please do so. For me, I like to keep it simple. I used to measure it in the beginning of this hydroponic journey but I feel like complicates it every time I measure and adjust ppm & pH. So, I no longer use them. Just enjoy the process and do not overthink it🌱🙂

Hydrophobic nutrition kaha milte he
I have a 5 gallon bucket. So I add 40ml of both. How often do you add more nutrients or change the water? I have the pump running roughly 5 hs on and off throughout the day. Mostly, lettuce and cilantro.
@healinghobbies
Жыл бұрын
That is correct 40ml both A & B Solution in 5 gallons of water. Adding nutrients will depend on what system/set up, the size of reservoir and how many plants you are growing. For instance, I have a vertical tower with 48 plants (mostly leafy greens and some dwarf tomatoes and strawberries) with 5 gallon bucket reservoir and the pump is running 5mins ON 45mins OFF in Spring season. I refill when it's half full at least once a week. However, in summer months, due to increased evaporation caused by the heat, the pump runs for 3 minutes ON and 15 minutes OFF. Reservoir refill is at least 2x a week or when necessary. Another factor to consider is as the plant matures they will take up a lot of nutrients too. Some set up like Kratky in a 5 gallon styroboxes filled with about 3-3.5 gallons of nutrient solution with 15 leafy greens like lettuce, bok choy and other leafy greens. No refill is needed up to harvest. I hope this helps!🌱🙂

In my first search in my country I usualy find NPK 10 10 10 and NPK 4 14 8 . It is very different? Can I use this? Thanks
@healinghobbies
Жыл бұрын
Yes as long as it's water soluble. It will work with leafy greens however result may vary with fruit plants since it has less P (Phosphorus) & K (Potassium) components which are essential for flowering and fruit development. Nevertheless, if that's the only resources available it would be fun to give it a try and experiment. I hope this helps! All the best and Happy Gardening!🌱🙂

@healinghobbies
Жыл бұрын
It varies depending on the type of the plants and the size of your container or reservoir. With leafy greens, if you have one gallon that would be sufficient for a head of lettuce. For fruiting plants like tomatoes, eggplants, peppers and others. If you are growing in 5 gallon bucket. You may need to refill nutrients at least 2-3x a week when they start to bear fruit as they takes up a lot of nutrients. I hope this helps!🌱🙂

wtf is a kilometer?
So at the end of the video you have 1gal vs 5 gal solution mixtures….I’d imagine then that the NPK, CN, and MS mixtures are also different depending on how much water you put in it? To further explain, you’re no longer using the same amount of dry ingredients to make the A & B solution since it’s not then getting poured into a 5 gal container then right? If I don’t want 5 gallons of the finished product I’d hate to have to use the same amount of NPK, MS, and CN then to make the A & B solution
@stephond.photography9867
8 ай бұрын
I think the amount you add to the water source is the difference. 40 ml in 5 g or 8 ml for 1 g. The amount of NPK you mix are for reserves and can be stored for years so it’s not a waste
He use to much calcium nitrate his flowers wil fall down what he did is maybe good for grow but not good for flowering stage
No need of micro nutrients?

The NPK (masterblend) I used is already includes micronutrients. 🌱😊
Hi Why you mixing 180 g of calcium instead 120 g like the npk ?
@healinghobbies
Жыл бұрын
It's a 2in1 added booster for both leafy greens which loves nitrogen and tomato plants (calcium to reduce blossom rot). Calcium Nitrate is a high source of Nitrogen. For some, increasing calcium nitrate is unnecessary. The standard ratio can be used for CN is 120g instead of 180g. I hope it helps.🌱🙂
