Soooo... I finally got to play the Mix Mode Online Playslist on Unleashed 2 and I have to say... IT'S FREAKING AMAZING!
Not only the two exclusive modes: Crash Derby and Grab the Gears are super fun on there own, but being able to play other offline modes such as Drift Master and Waypoint against other players is just too much fun!
It's a shame that the only feasible way to play this modes is if you have a substation group of friend to queue with you as it's a unique playlist separated from the main Race Mode. Making this whole gameplay video, unfortunately, quite a rare sight for Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 content. Enjoy!

it sucks, unfortunately. Even with cross play, this game barely has any players.
this is the only players who plays mix playist :( I hope one day this game gets some attention
I actually found a match in this playlist the other day. Sadly only ever got to play Drift Master (which isn't one I enjoy). I kinda wish Elimination at the very least could show up in the regular race playlist, since it uses the same tracks, and it's already pretty similar to regular racing anyways.

I wish this game mode was more populated. It's nice to have something that breaks the mold of standard racing here and there.

Yeah, at least would be fine in between the races, like ever 3/4 normal races, one extra mode break the sweatmode haha

Ok, this modes look pretty fun, wtf
Man, it sucks that there's barely any players across all platforms. I'm with the general consensus of saying that this game is a much-needed improvement over the first, and truly earns it's "Unleashed" name. Having cross play with the second game right out of the gate should have theoretically expanded the player base, but unfortunately due to bad marketing that wasn't what happened. It's a damn shame, because if you strip away all the Hot Wheels branding the core mechanics make for an excellent arcade racer. Imagine all these moves being added into Mario Kart. People would eat that up like it's crack cocaine! I think the wider gaming audiences biggest problem with this game is that it's a Hot Wheels game. They see a children's toy brand attached to it and then suddenly they're scared to try it... yet these were the same people who also enjoyed the Barbie movie.

I think HWU1 players are boycotting HWU2 because they don’t want to pay for a game they understand that it should be a DLC of the first one! They are missing out! This installment is a much better game imho! Unfortunately hate wins over love! 😢

@@hotwheelsFanxdversion-xm1rl I mean that most of the features presented in the 2nd installment were things that the players of the first game wanted as a DLC, they didn’t want the first game to die so soon and then be presented with a new game, full price, with features and cars lineups they always wanted. There were many players back then and they were fun to play with, but they are just gone! Sad!
I really want to get this game at some point, but I don't know how well it runs on PS4 or on my PC
