The boost decrease when you upgrade the car is to balance all the vehicles on the track, making sure that the game stays competitive. This was what the devs told to us in a Q&A couple months ago after they announced the date of the game's launching.

the best way to drift is to start from the outside and aim to the inside of the curve. ans for having lost a boost ring i think each boost ring is more power per ring.

9:20 You went from 4 to 2 boosts, but those 2 boosts seem more powerful, last a bit longer and recharge faster.

yeah that's what I noticed as well, they charge way faster and also last longer. The point is to be using your boost constantly after practically every turn, not saving them up to pull ahead when you make a mistake. That being said, everyone has a different play style and I can see how having more smaller boosts could be better for some people.

Firstly, I'd really like to see more of the "City Rumble". Secondly I'm quite happy to hear "Recover" at the end, which btw I am hearing even when I'm not listening to it. ^^ Love that song and your content in general.

If you can get through the track editor without it breaking. also you cant directly share your tracks and the multiplayer is filled with players being AFk or voting for really short unfun tracks. game needed a few more months in the oven honestly.

Despite the issues listed in the other person's comment, the game is still very fun, especially with friends and I definitely recommend it. The devs are listening to community feedback and are working on fixes

I do not know yet if he caches on to it. But the new upgraded car does in fact have only 2 boost. But they fill up constantly. The former one had 4 but only fill up on drifts.

PS: A single drift replenis like 75% of a boost. The previous one did like 33%. So drifting wile boosting is a A+ stratergy. It is harder. But you catch SO MUCH TIME. PPS: Boost to dodge the spider.

That first race was full of suspense. It was definitely fun to watch.

I think the trick with the spider is to either just go in a zig-zag when you get to it, or when he shoots his web, change spots ASAP so it don't hit you (this may have been obvious but I was just trying to help)

I have an idea: Make an upside down magnetic course, kinda like how you did before, except this time have jumps that you have to barrel roll into and land on normal tracks. So pretty much you switch from upside down to upside up via jumps.

I noticed when building a track the checkpoint sound gets triggered when the camera moves through a checkpoint so maybe the checkpoints were too high off the ground but the sound would still be triggered by the camera.

Keep in mind ScrapMan, you get boost by drifting AND drafting (following directly behind a car ahead of you) so on straight aways you can still build boost if you aren't in first place.

Hey Scrapman, how about an extremely confusing loop course where you are allways looking round in different directions like a spaghetti bowl 😁

You could follow the course with the open sided tracks, that way the path works mostly for guidance

There's a minimap that shows where the course goes so even though the cones didn't work you can follow the minimap.

i tried doing something similar, but I had to stick to normal tracks as I wanted the skate park to be used to build up speed

How was that toaster vehicle so far ahead of them at that one track? Crazy. At least Scrapman's course was fun looking! though it seems like the checkpoints were confusing tracks on the half pipe because they crossed, and it thought they were skipping a checkpoint.

for the nitrous, the notches are what you would call power nitrous or power shot nitrous and the other would be called burn nitrous

the problem with open tracks is that if you do crossing paths, the game checks the "furthest" point of track progression. if there are Checkpoints before, it assumes you skipped them and auto resets you to the last valid position you were in. i know this because there's a shortcut on a regular track which places me just beyond a missed checkpoint on landing and the reset timer is just long enough to cross it in backwards direction, making the run legitimate in the games eyes.

the cool skull car you got goes from a meter/bar of boost to having 3 boost's

I think the checkpoints might not have registered because they were off the ground.

I feel like you need two good cars one with the controlled booster and one with the set boost

Maybe you could try making a track with a ton of jumps

The big question is what order did you put the check points because some games are picky about placement orders

The 2 boosts are more powerful so really each boost orb u have is like 2 of the 4 boost orbs u had previously

if you could disable the minimap you could make an hide and seek with check points and the finish

on the spider part, i see from other you need to turn quickly when the spider launch the net, you can either crash into wall and bounce or just turn quickly.i dont know is this helpful

rd-02 is one of the best cars in the game

youre prob not going to see this but use the construcrion barriers as the "cones" along the sides of the course for the ramps

The minimap in the bottom left corner shows you where to go

you can look at the mini map for directions

Contact them about cones on vertical surfaces and numbering checkpoints so they are in the desired order.

I’m think legendary cars have less boost, but can get boost just by driving around.

Can you snake on straight aways (snake is doing multiple fast drifts on straight aways to gain boost mostly used in mario kart)

To see which way to go look at the map

9:14 watch the 2 left-most cars, they get hit and taken out by the flags.

The invisible track does appear on the minimap even though the vones won't show up so you do have an indicator if where to go

The limited offers in the shop is just cars you can buy out right instead of the blind box randomness.

Also if you tilt the nose of the car downward you go down in the air to control how fast you land

day 8 of asking scrapman to start a Survival series amphibious tank/basically any transportation and floating base (or under water. But you need mods... it's a require ment to breathe under water, if you want an under water base/transportation. And yes i am talking about the under water fan moonbo reviewed that basically makes water spaces air spaces... if that makes any sense.)
