A lot of this info producers can come across combing through a lot of videos. But having it synthesized so concisely and clearly into one video is incredibly useful!

Does the 808 always need to be louder than other instruments? I keep my 808 lower than my kick and clap, but higher than the hi hat, melody, and other percs I throw in there.

Fl studio has different scale so in other DAW will be c3. nothing to worry about

maybe a noob question, but how did you scale the tale of each sample in the mixing zone ? never saw this before. would be epic for this help, thanks sir, this channel is really gold ! started your series today, ciao

I'm not sure what you mean exactly but you can choose on the top left of your mixer window to be "Extra Large" :)

You know whst gives me the most struggle? To get the first 2 or 3 harmonics of the kick right. I am never sure if i should turn the first harmonic up or rather down! Does the kick really have that huuge 1. harmonic or am i designing my kicks "wrong"?

Sometimes that's all we have.... I only have 1 kick drum for my acoustic drumkit for example.

I think a lot of the info presented isn’t necessarily to make your kick sound better quality, rather the video is illustrating how we can better fit it in the context of the mix. A high quality kick sample that fits the vibe of your track is cool, but it still needs to be mixed in order to sit perfectly with consideration to the surrounding sounds.
