One of the reasons that people of our generation liked SRK was his exuberance, energy and passion. I know a lot of people in their late teens and early 20's will call it overacting, but trust me no six pack can compare with the kind of raw emotion and charm that SRK "used' to have.

+saurav daga and what irritate me the most that when new actor appears (Ranveer, Arjun or whoever) who shows that he also very energetic on stage, people start saying this is a new Shahrukh Khan. Nobody like him and will ever be, age doesn't matter. That is so offensive and not fair. They should have their own style, not copying. Not possible to say that Shahrukh Khan is a new Dilip Kumar or somebody else, because he is unique.

The kids today will never understand what life was like before high speed internet and instant access and gratification, when the internet and smartphones were not so readily available then.Ah, how we would wait for our favourite songs to play on 9xm and chotey and bade with their cringe shayaris 😂. Even though we have everything on our fingertips easily today, I would still say it was better before, that there was even pleasure in waiting for the songs to show up on music channels, a pleasure that kids today won’t experience. I’m so happy to have been born in 90's to have experienced the best years of Bollywood movies and songs, hit songs and movies, one after the other, and iconic ones.

I guess people who were born between 1982 and 1990 are really lucky that they have seen evolution of so many things including bollywood songs. Many youngsters do not know how crazy we were for SRK when he was at his peak from 1995 till 2005. Time flies and so does age..😮

Nepotism was always there. Every moment every second. It's just that after the digital revolution in India entertainment has become abundantly available and has lost uniqueness. People's tastes have also changed. For example a movie like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai would be a huge flop in the box office if made toady. And lastly Bollywood faces a dearth of able directors.

My dad and mom sneaked away from us to watch this movie in a theatre in 2006 and came back home with the audio CD because they loved this song so much. I was 15 then, I am almost 33 now and I am still hooked to this masterpiece. They don't make such songs anymore man. 😢
