Mitsubishi Montero On Metal Masher
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Got a call for a gentleman out on the Metal Masher Trail. He had slid down section of trail and was concerned about possible brake issues and getting back out on his own. So me and Mike headed out to help. We came in the opposite way he had to check trail conditions. Once getting to him we checked out the vehicle, then decided on the best route out. We helped him back out the way he had come and got him down to good road. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

If it scares Rory, you know it's terrifying. He's taken Trailmater places I'd need a parachute to travel.😂😂

That last little bit would terrify me for sure, even though it was mostly level and not slopey, that cliff was no joke.

Thanks again for the help guys! The front end was pretty tweaked from the hit coming down that ledge. Didn't realize it until I got on pavement. But got it aligned enough with a tape measure to get moving again. I'll be back out in April 🤣

Thank-you Rory, another fantastic off road driving lesson from the master. And in the most beautiful office in the world to boot. Mike, your comments are always spot on and appreciated, great way to start my Saturday morning, a cup of coffee and a Moab adventure. 👍
"We talked him off a ledge." I love how Mike is a great camera man and color commentator. The shots of the front and rear suspension working as the rigs flex over obstacles are perfection. Keep it up, guys!

Mike runs deep with the wry sarcasm. When Sean is around, he adds the dry humor that you kinda have to think a moment. Rory is, as always, the blunt and kinda slapstick humor type. And yet they get the job done, *really* damn well, with no bullshit wasted time. It makes for great content every time, no matter who is on the job.

Mike could do standup comedy no problem.
The last scene, giving the 4x4 a belly rub on the shaft - priceless . And there was Rory, fearless as ever, on the phone while driving on a snowy edge of the precipice. Great video, great scenery.
When the guy that lives those trails and does them backwards goes, "Yea this is sketchy in the snow..." Take note. Great vid as always.
People putting themselves in bad situations.. AND .. Rory & Crew out there being incredibly Polite & Professional! As much as I hate to admit it, because bad choices put them there, it takes a fair amount of smarts for these people to admit they screwed up and call for help. That's far better than the alternative of them going beyond their limits and becoming a far worse recovery. Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Oh wow Rory and Mike in the Scrambler rescuing the Mitsubishi was harrowing at times and very slick. This guy said he made a mistake and we agree he should never have been up there but thanks to Rory's experience and expertise they got him out in one piece. Thanks for sharing Trail Mater good video!
Rory you are by far one of the best drivers I have seen in action! You make those rocks look like they are made out of glue lol.
That Mitsubishi handled itself beautifully! ❤️
I love how everyone in the Tow Truck Olympics is bringing their highly prized "Spotter", and Rory just puts Trail Mater in reverse and goes wherever without one.

@@nickraschke4737 I dont remember exactly where I read it, perhaps a MORR Comment... but an unverified user stated that Trevor was fed up with the "highlife and fandom". And quite a few times, on older videos, Trevor has explicitly stated he was a camera man so he could stay off camera. A few times he had made comments about "Finally getting to see my family this weekend" or "Finally on time for dinner". Im sure theres been quite a few instances where those who were originally close friends or pre existing staff just didnt want to be a part of the KZread Hype of MORR. I mean hell, Rudy jumped ship to do his own thing, so perhaps theres some Ego issues off camera.

Lol, “car need scratchy” brilliant Where I used to work we got a lot of snow, people still went for walks when the snow was 2 feet deep ! Going wheeling in the mountains when snow is on the ground can’t be the best idea anyone has ever had

"It's only big if you look at it". What a quote! The dude did pretty well actually.
So the Gentleman had an exclusive off road driving lesson, from one of the masters. Superb video guys:)
How many people would pay to have Rory teach you how to drive on rough slippery rock trails out in the middle of nowhere? You probably would learn enough to justify the recovery costs.

Kind of makes you wonder how one would do if it was built to be a rock crawler doesn't it?
I am just thinking how if I was to get stuck like that, how lucky I would be to have that experience with those guys. Seriously, money well spent.
Rory I like the way you start every video as if we were just having a conversation a minute ago. There's something very comforting about that
I've mountain biked Porcupine Rim and it is hard to describe to people how high and vertical the cliffs around there are. "Just close your eyes and it will be alright." Epic!
Man the scenery there is breathtaking! Doubly so for Mike's cinematography!!
I can only imagine how treacherous and slick it gets with snow out there. Moab in snow does add to the amazing view factor times 10. Glad he could drive out and with your professional help it was a great trip for the customer.
The guy did good to drive it out with some spotting from Rory
For us eastern flat land folks, seeing that edge covered in snow and walking to the ledge, that makes me pucker up! Nice video!
Wow those red rocks are beautiful with a little snow. Rory is so right about them being slippery with a blanket of snow. It’s like Rory is driving both rigs at that the same time. I love those undercarriage shots. Another great video.
the sweet sound of those mufflers is just pure music
Beautiful scenery, it highlights that first having the know-how and the right equipment go far in that environment.
Going down the trail beside that cliff got my heart pumping!
Great way to start a video! Doughnuts!! Rory -" why do people.. hmm..hmmm...." Mike: "it's only a big cliff if you look at it..." Thank you, guys! Great stuff.😊👍
Another great video and rescue, hats off to Rory and Mike
Mike’s line, “it’s only sketchy if it doesn’t work” 👌🤪
Rory and Mike to the rescue. Great job guys. 👍

Nukin Futz ... and they are proud of it!
Slick Rock, Snow & Ice on the edge of cliffs what could go wrong when you go out by your self...NEVER wheel alone that's the first rule! When in Moab if there is no one at trail heads there's probably a reason use your brain people. It's one thing for a car issue but if you slip on that rock you could lay there and die before someone finds you. Many times there is no service on some of those trails. We took a girl to the hospital with a severely broken arm in 2017, she was out by herself biking. People's bad decisions put other people's lives at risk. Thank you Rory for knowing those roads and trails so and willing to help others out safely. Thank you Mike and Shawn for tagging alone learning those trails better and helping. Happy Trails 👣
Cool mistsu. Great job helping as usual
Beautiful landscapes, nice ground levels views, and a bonus with the scratchies! 😸
Upside: the man got instruction in rock crawler techniques from an expert !! At least he had reasonably good tires.
Mike is like a mix between John Madden / Pat Summerall of KZread commentators. The whole Trailmator crew plus Chris and Lilly are the best, and we cant forget the person editing the vids is top notch also.
I guess on these sorts of days you learn how much control of your vehicle you have or need... I love the view of you coming down and the highway beside you all the way down below.
I had to call search and rescue to repel me down a cliff I shouldn't have climbed.... Reminds me a this😉. Great vid. Lake Havasu 🌞 Az
Mike's big ol Chevy rolls over for a tummy scratch "rub" 👍😁 I luv it !
Rory is the Einstein of wheeling 🤘🤘. A true master ✌🏼
Pretty up on top of the mountain. You can see a long way. It is nice to have someone who can come and help you out when you get lost or the right way out.
Pretty cool video. Rory thanks for making that. You sure have some scenery!!
There's so much about recovery and fixing things on the trail... He's so knowledgeable and tough.. love trail mater
A Dream come true for this guy in the Montero. He gets to go Wheeling with Rory.
That area looks pretty sketchy at the best of times … but with the snow … wow! Stay safe guys! Always entertaining. Love it!
The list of crazy things and situations you have seen is undoubtedly huge. The list for those you haven't seen is quickly shrinking. Thanks guys. Cheers from West Jordan
Rory and his team always make the mission have a good outcome.
Definitely a rescue mission this one, the guy would have ended up scrap metal at the bottom if Rory was not guiding him out. Well done Rory!
I am a flat lander. I think some people go out wheeling, and then all of a sudden reality kicks in. It's seems to me like going swimming in a lake. You swim out enjoying yourself, and then all of a sudden you look back and think, "Oh crap I have to swim back.
That SUV was better equipped than I was expecting. I see so many folks try to take stone stock rigs in places they shouldn’t. But, that’s what puts tow truck drivers kids through college. Cool video.
Another awesome video showing the skill you guys have. The scenery is beautiful and I love, Love, LOVE the extra clips at the end of each video. Scratching the belly of the rig was hilarious.
Having the Master giving you personal driving instruction, should be worth more than just getting towed out!!
love the scratchy ...so funny !!
Thanks for sharing 👍😀
Well done gents! That ending is one of my favorites!
How lucky was that guy, having Rory spot him....
I don’t know why people do what they do but I enjoy watching you guys get them sorted out. Thanks
Incredible ride with ya'll, the cliff was a land mine at any time...great job!
Always appreciate Mike’s camera shots. Rigs suspension in action, Moab beauty, awesome!
Cliff road is one thing… but snowy cliff road … gave me butterflies just watching
My palms always get a bit sweaty when you guys are driving on ledges. Doing it in the snow makes it even worse. Mike's camera work on this one was great! It sounds like this customer has a new understanding about the dangers of solo wheeling on unfamiliar trails...especially in the snow.
Great video!! Loved the views... both the scenery as well as the trail shots and the under the vehicle shots. MAN!! That was a TALL cliff!! If someone were to fall off of it at least they would have time for a last prayer before hitting the bottom 😮😲😳
He seemed to handle the trail with Rory's help. He really should have been with someone who knows the terrain. Crazy drops!!
The Gooney bird steps up again. We loved snow runs, but it was trails, no crawling by cliffs involved. Some pretty spectacular scenery in the Winter. Nice work getting him through the rough stuff. That last clip was hysterical. Sometimes they just want a belly scratch. Back on his wheels and it's off to the races.
It just gets better. Thanks! I know you guys see that scenery everyday but those views are fantastic to an old flatlander like me.
Rory Mike and Shaun talk about each of your first cars that you owned in the next pow wow session! Keep on rocking guys! 👍👍
Rory this one of the best videos 📹 the views 👏 🙌 are awesome thanks for taking us with you ,you are awesome driver.
When I was first starting to four wheeling out there I would have live to have Rory spoting for me .I learned buy the set of my pants . Great job Rory 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great rescue video Rory and Mike. The line that Rory picked driving out was on point. I don’t think the guy would have had an easier time had he had to do it without Rory’s guidance! Great video! 🤙😎
Awesome job, guys! That Mitsubishi did pretty well with you spotting him through.
In the UK, we have a simple rule - never trail alone ! I am amazed how Rory doesn't judge them, just gets on with rescuing them.

Hi Got to say the Mitsubishi Montero did alright, very impressed, As always enjoy your video's cheers
Wow, better you than me. Awesome driving skills. Enjoyed video. God Bless
That ending, says it all! God Bless
Great day
Gorgeous scenery but the sections of the trail that drop off to eternity make me pucker up.
I recon the bloke just wanted Rory to come to the rescue, 😅🤣 thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
That Montero is pretty cool. Would rock.
The part where you said it's only tall if you look down. I was puckering just watching my TV !!!! Love watching what you do for people. Stay safe, and keep up the good work .
1:25 love watching leaf springs doing things
Another awesome recovery. Keep up the good work.
Ever since I began watching you & a couple other off-road rescuers, I've marveled at how lacking in caution some people are. Things like Hyundais in the snow, side by sides falling off cliffs...it's almost as if one gets off road & immediately drops 60 IQ points." Less experience, more daring." Genuine accidents, too, of course, but so many are user error...thanks for your work, & hope you keep yourselves as safe as you can,
Brilliant as ever. Please don't fall off a cliff! Poor Mikey's tractor! Keep up the great work guys 👍💪❤️
Beautiful Wildlife scenery camera work. And gray Trail work. Thanks God bless you and your family amen and aloha
A locker on an Mitsubishi? That's awesome.
That butterfly touch again, and the rumble of that V8.
Nice to have a couple of pro's help out a greenhorn. Good job, thanks for the video.

Rory I really love watching your stuff
Sitting on the edge of my seat. That was “amazing.” 🙏🦅
Adventures city slickers getting rescued, Be'gah right on fantastic recovery, getting paid having fun at the same time, nottin wrong with that 🇺🇸🤠👍🏻
Thanks for sharing 👍🏻 Rory and Mike ! Nice sunny day. Is there a time or situation 🤔 that you won't go out and rescue someone? Maybe wait until spring? or wait a couple of days? Maybe wait ✋️ aweek for snow to clear? You are the Master Rory! I do hope that the tow off? or the oympics of tow and recovery have a chance to do some recovering where you just were! Thanks again. ✌🏻👍🤘 🌬 ❄️ 🇨🇦.
