Mix gas is a blend of gasses containing around 95% Nitrogen and 5% Oxygen. Traditionally, this gas mixture is created and maintained by the use of external blending units where high-pressure oxygen is mixed with high-pressure nitrogen.
With AGR-MIX, our revolutionary patented nozzle technology combines low-pressure air and nitrogen inside the nozzle, creating a perfect yet adjustable blend of gases. This blended gas not only minimizes or eliminates the burr level in mild steel but also reduces Nitrogen assist gas consumption significantly while eliminating the need for any external blending unit or high-pressure oxygen.
We’ve achieved this by taking our industry leading no contact AGR nozzle technology which can reduce nitrogen assist gas consumption by up to 75% and combined it with all the benefits that mix gas offers.
The result is nitrogen assist gas savings of up to 50% even when compared to our AGR-N2 technology, all with remarkable cut quality.
