The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution car series can be regarded as a masterpiece of Japanese high-performance cars. In addition to the fact that Mitsubishi won multiple consecutive WRC championships with the Lancer Evolution, it is also because of the amazing power and powerful four-wheel drive of the Evo that many people love the car. , Car enthusiasts feel that a classic, high-horsepower JDM car that evolved from the original mediocre Lancer has actually become a mass-produced model, and because of the four-wheel drive system, the huge horsepower can be evenly released, making driving easier. People feel more at ease and boldly enjoy the excitement brought by the huge engine power. Of course, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution from 1992 to the end of production in 2016 happened to go through the rough period of Mitsubishi Motors from its glory days to being tired of being resold. From Evo I to Evo IX, it can be regarded as a complete story of the Evolution car series, starting from It was produced to meet WRC competition requirements, and then a new generation was launched almost every year. The heart of the nine generations was still the 4G63 four-cylinder turbo engine, the flagship of Mitsubishi Motors. In the third generation of Evolution X, it was replaced with the new 4B11T engine. . This time, Sir Long and Edmond Lau test drove Evolution 3 and Evolution 9. Why these two Lancer Evolutions? Like the first and second generations, Evolution III uses a four-wheel drive system with non-active front and rear power distribution. It can be said to be the most original Lancer Evolution. At the beginning of the fourth generation, Mitsubishi invented the AYC system and also had an active front and rear power distribution system. This was considered the first watershed for the Evolution car series. The new four-wheel drive was also when the Mitsubishi team began to conquer the pack in WRC. Evolution IX is the last generation of Evolution with the 4G63 engine. The four-wheel drive system has also developed to ACD, a more electronic and faster four-drive force distribution management system. The ninth generation is equipped with MIVEC valve timing similar to Honda's VTEC. The system can be regarded as the last major transformation of 4G63. Sir Long and Edmond Lau just wanted to try out the difference in performance between two Lancer Evolutions that are ten years apart and have different four-wheel drive systems. Sir Long will also explain how Mitsubishi's AYC and ACD achieve front-to-rear power distribution, and how the rear wheels achieve left-to-right power distribution.

八九十年代三菱除左私家車,小巴同巴士喺香港都有市場,除左憑Rosa開創冷氣小巴先河,九巴亦引入一批中型巴士,甚至本地旅行社都引入日本原裝旅遊巴Aero Queen, 算係三菱嘅黃金時代

三菱重工的强項就是做引擎與渦輪,從一戰發展至今。其他的日系車包括台灣和大陸的車,基本都是用三菱的技術在細化調校。前兩年三菱汽車資產重組需要400億美元,廣汽集團、中華汽車、還有泰國方面都想出資收購,結果被日產截胡收購了,背後出資的是法國雷諾。。。。

首先多謝你們用心製作 容我有些私心的發表意見😁 現在有了港車北上 其實如果各方可以 希望北上到內地一些中小型賽車場進行詳細測試 可能始終香港土地問題 在馬路試車實在有点纸上談兵 大材小用😂。這些車都是我們的童年回憶 好想睇下當年的車同現在的在賽車場上一較高下😝

會唔會考慮試埋架X代? 始終副偈都唔同咗, 成架車個設計, 感覺改變都明顯, 又唔覺香港本地有好多其他汽車channel 試過。或者可以一做?
当年在我这边马来西亚很疯狂改的evo 3 就系 Mitsubishi 当年和马来西亚本地牌子“PROTON”合作做出来的平民车“Proton WIRA ” 可以话全部拥有wira的车主都喜欢拿来改因为要像evo3 😆😆

龍sir 講得啱,只有洗左去先係你嘅錢,我個已故前上司高層揸幾代 volvo 大車。有次自己頂橋入左廠,就坐佢車,好大雨,先車我返太古住處,佢再揸返自己南區獨立屋,點知喺哥連臣炒左,佢人無受傷,後尾佢話佢架車會補呔到補唔到,仲話d呔幾嚿水一條,好貴,又慳飲慳食,旅行都唔去,又不用供子女。佢幾年前伽瑪刀,標靶又免疫療法,使左近千萬,咪又走左,留低大筆遺產。😪

好多好玩既野都係因為不完美先有挑戰性,所謂車既個性就係咁。舊車好玩,因為好多問題要用好精妙既機械結構去克服。現代既新車,有問題咪加多粒sensor,寫多段logic去蓋左佢,久而久之就無晒個性。其實說穿了AYC就係類似依家既torque vectoring😂

其實,ESP、Torque vectoring 系統 利用 左/右 其中一邊 落 brake 的方法 去營造 車身轉彎效果 , 係比 AYC 更加 靈活、多變❕

開放式差缺點係跣呔立刻失去向前的驅動力之後部車不受控、好似突然間斷咗線嘅紙鷂、鎖住無左差速無錯會有車輪不平行、驅動力扯住部車向前行就不平行唔到乜野出樣、像打桌球督白波6點位位置、個波會不斷向後旋轉、打個白波出去向前衝度力未斷之前向後旋轉影響不到個波向前行、所以地靚胎咬更加要鎖得實d同不平行鬥過、扯住部車向前行度力贏、贏左就跣呔都影響不到部車依照駕駛者指向的路線行、我理解是這樣

Great video! The Evo 9 actually comes with a 6 speed. The 5 speed is often changed because it's stronger.

I just know this till now. I bought a EVO 9 5-speed back then just because 5-speed was a lot cheaper than a 6-speed together with less accessories like no bucket seat and a few other cosmetics. Why was the 5 speed stronger?

@@hermanwoo800 There is more space in the gearbox casing so some of the gears are thicker so they don't break as easily.
