I always consciously tell myself to take my wipers off auto during winter when I start up the key.

Silly idea these rain sense wipers, very few I find work affectively, most are utterly useless, along with auto lights lol

you can also turn off beepy front seats with no seatbelts by just unplugging the sensors (purple wires) under the 2 front seats.

Mine has 95,000 on and the carpet has literally worn away under the accelerator with genuine mitsi mats, i’ll be interested to see what you find that look and work better, Great vid mate 👍

Thanks for watching 👍🏼 I do find the rubber mats are much better than the fabric ones. Been trying to find the link to the full cover ones I had on my watch list, but I can’t re find them

Hi Mate, would you be able to do a video on how remove the center console to gain access to adjust the handbrake please ? as I have not found one. Great info by the way :) Sorry should have mentioned that I also have the series 5.

Thanks for watching and for positive comment mate 👍🏼 You don’t ever want to adjust handbrake by the cable you need to remove the drums and do it that way, that way you get massively improved foot brake, hand brake and hill assist….. I did this on my L200 at 6000 miles as the handbrake was far too high Go onto my video list, there is a how to adjust brake drums video….. yes it’s on a Corolla but it’s 100% the same set up as the L200

Yeah I have done exactly the same with the L200 drums, use hammerite hammered black spray , it’s a green can I think 7 or 8 year cover one £10 Did mine at 6000 now at 10,000 hand brake is getting high again, I just think the self adjusters are rubbish. Thanks 👍🏼

you can turn off the LDW by turning it off, then press and hold for 10s

No, I mean you can permanently disable it. Turn it on, then turn it off and then press and hold for 10 seconds until you get a time when it will be disabled from coming on every time you turn the truck on

I sold it through Covid lockdowns, when prices when crazy. Had it 12 months and did 6000 miles and made considerably more than I paid for it. I have all sorts of cars / projects have a look on the channel 👍🏼

Does the 2017 series 5 l200 with the older screen have android auto and apple carplay?

Thanks for watching 👍🏼 I can’t say 100% but most early barbarian and Warrior spec come with some aftermarket head unit Kenwood I think, they still do reverse camera, Bluetooth and sat nav, but are not the best fiddly to use. Think from 2018 they used the Mitsubishi inbuilt system with apple CarPlay, bigger touch screen, DAB, as you will have seen on my video, as it looks all part of the dash, over an old fashioned looking head unit pushed in the dash. I do know people with the older units swap for these nee inbuilt units without too much issues, or even better I have seen people fit Android tablets or IPads into the dash they look really good.

Can you share part number for kick plates?

Unfortunately I can’t find them I did look, they were genuine Mitsubishi ones can get them from any dealer

Can you just do the EGR delete mod without the mapping unit or is it best to do both at the same time?

You can do either tbh, but I would recommend doing both. It’s like a different truck after the tuning box, but the MPG are so much better with the EGR Mod. For the sake of £30/£40 do the EGR mod then do the tuning box later on down the line. Or if your truck is out of warranty just get a stage 1 re map and EGR delete.

Only thing with a MAP once it’s on its on, no real way to to remove it. As with the EGR mod and tuning box can be, also the tuning box can be adapted to your needs with ease. No problem happy to help 👍🏼

Sat nav is used though car play on your phone on the later ones
