    Hey Alex, I just changed my fuel filter. My 2012 L200 has 2 extra hoses(!), and a little different set-up, but with your expert video, I was able to change it just fine. I added some diesel fuel to the filter before attaching it, and I think it saved me some extra pumping! It's running fine! Thanks again.

    Awesome video! How do you change the clutch fluid?

  • @AlexTheGrumpyOne

    @AlexTheGrumpyOne

    3 жыл бұрын

    Thank you. The same way pretty much as the brake fluid on calipers. On the slave cylinder there is a bleeder. But you need to make sure you don't bleed it too much in one go as it only got little bottle. So keep topping up that bottle. Because last thing you want it air in the clutch system. That is a good point. Something that unfortunately isn't in this video.

    Any tips on how to change the power steering fluid

  • @AlexTheGrumpyOne

    @AlexTheGrumpyOne

    27 күн бұрын

    Power steering one is a bit more tricky. Usually I either slide a pipe off at the bottom and let it drain and maybe turn the steering lock to lock. But u need to be careful as u don't want it to stay dry for long and create air lock. Car definitely need to be off as u don't want to be running the powersteering pump. Then fill up with new fluid and do lock to lock to get rid of air gaps.

    Hi there. Yes it is a complicated one. There are adaptors that you can buy with a smaller joint on the grese gun. Also there is certain position that you can turn propshaft to that opens up the space a bit more.

    Not at all bud! I am more then happy when people share more information and advice! You are completely right! On some cars like old transits and few others without the diesel in a filter you are in trouble! Also I have been lucky because I got the tools to activate the pump on other vehicles like new vag group cars.
