always saw this as a song representing a teenager who is rebellious but not for the sake of being rebellious . they are unable to save themselves which is why they beg for someone else to save them.

Hi, I'm the teenager ur talking about, I am crying rn and blasting this in my ears after fighting with my parents cuz they told me to do hw, they call me and tell me horrible things, they not only physically but also mentally psychologically and verbally abuse me, this comment made me cry harder, u are right, this IS how I feel.
