This episode is mesmerizing... watching Tony and Jason listening to Mitchie so closely and understanding what he's saying at such a deeper level than most of the viewing audience. It's like watching Jazz Musicians talking.... they get it, and we get that they get it, even if we don't get it.

For sure man, I am 42 and have been skating since I was 7. When they started talking shop abt spinning 900s and how to rotate them, etc, I was lost. That being said, super sick!

Big respect to Mitchie, humble, clear, honest besides the incredible skills. Great to listen to.
My favorite episode so far. Brusco is a hell of an ambassador for skateboarding.
Can't wait to watch this episode. Have been a massive fan of Mitchie for years and in fact have sessioned on his (old) home vert ramp with him when we were kids, good ol' Skatebarn West in WA state. I could barely rock to fakie or axle stall in the vert ramp and here he was the same age busting out 540s and learning all the variations of it. All while not being a total brat like you'd expect some sports virtuosos would be. Was awesome to see him rip back then and have been following his career ever since, a true legend at this point! Dude's still mad young and has accolades in skating that most of us can only dream of. Thanks Tony and Jason for the episode and shoutout to Mitchie!

And thank YOU Jason for ditching the Mr T style dangly feather and dangling tusk earring. It was just too much in concert with the chemo beard and the gay. You can have any two of the three but all 3 is just too much for my tastes.
THANK YOU. Big fan of all three. Been waiting for this one!

Mitchie is way too nervous, Hawk and Wolf are so interested 🤣 what a good show
Can’t tell you how many of us who have been skating for 35-40 years talk about Mitch lately 😂🙌 what an episode thanks gang!
Tony and Jason. Your podcast is the freshest air. Thank you and again thank you.
That was one of the best episodes of any podcast I have ever seen! Mitchie's energy is on another level. When Tony and Jason talk that much before the guest you know its special. The way they all clicked on the details of skating vert was so sick. Loved every second of this one! Can't wait for the next
Mitchie, I enjoy your show, and your appearances on others I've seen. I appreciate your passion and mindset. Some athletes are virtuosos without having to put in much work. Your performances and accomplishments are amazing. And the way I listen to you break shit down, I know you could be one of the most sought after coaches ever. It wouldn't even have to be just for skateboarding. I'm sure you could coach almost any extreme sport and more. I'm just thankful you shared some insights with us today. Also, if you get into the trick tip/ how to video market, show some footage for illustration. Draw some pictures and diagrams. I love that shit. ✌🏽

this was one of the most genuinely interesting episodes. really awesome
Wonderful ep. Love hearing about the deeper details of nailing such complex tricks like 1260s
Mitchie Brusco is incredible
29 back into skateing for 6 months had a fracture on a quarter pipe , back on the board trying bigger vert now gonna keep pushing love the podcast guys wont miss a episode
PERFECT Ep. Thank you guys for the Amazing content. Respect 👌🏽
This is a great episode! Mitchum has a great way of breaking things down, and he’s just adorable to watch, especially with these two. Great show, guys!! 🔥🔥
This inspired me to watch vert alert and turned out this year's just happened and it was rad!! Great timing
Mitchie has such an advantage with the gymnastics training. Knowing how to control your body is key, skateboard, bike, is an extension of your body. He would do himself well to learn movement from Ido Portal, prep, maintenance, joint bullet proofing. Crazy info he dropped on Hoffman’s helmet alert. If you look up the video of Mat and Dennis McCoy crashing in his backyard, unable to move or reach their phones, you’ll see why that becomes a thing. And yeah, GET MAT ON!!!!
A lesson to both Tony & Jason in these comments - we don't give a fuck how deeply into the weeds you go, it's fascinating and we love it. Great episode and look forward to seeing Mitchie continuing to push the boundaries. The spin king.
Your a hero for wearing that shirt!
Very under rated.. as a fan and appreciate vert skating , to hear Mitchie go into the "weeds" on tricks , I'm listening going "WTF?" ..
Tony and Jason are the best!!!! Respect to the New Gen skaters. Jason and Tony's silent reactions made it clear. We're too old for this shit.... Lol
Ellis, "You're F'#n Crazy! - LOL
It’s funny cos Mitchie aka Lil’ Tricky used to come skate the indoor I worked at in Port Orchard, WA (KBS). But I was at that demo at Rain City (was indeed around 2001-02). I wanna say it was the Tony Hawk’s Gigantic Skatepark Tour. I was standing up on the vert ramp and Bam used my shoulder to steady himself up on the huge tail drop he did from the vert into the street bank.
Loved this one boys! Mitchie is king!! 🔥
The look on Jason's face when Mitchie is describing workshopping the 1260 is priceless. It's part this is amazing and part I hate this kid, but 100% admiration. This is by far the best interview for any young vert skater to watch. Here's to PNW skaters!
This is another great podcast. It amazes me that someone can have such a natural talent at something and can also explain it and break it down so well. The tips that @mitchiebrusco84 dispenses are invaluable. It also amazes me to hear people talk about things that are downright incomprehensible. Just standing on the deck of a 13 foot vertical drop is terrifying let alone spinning ANY degrees while riding it let. And that's not even the 17 foot vertical drop mega ramp. I don't think the public has any idea of the courage, skill, and determination it takes to be a vert rider, and the rest of the skating community lacks interest in it maybe because it is so scary that few are willing to do it. I myself didn't much care for vert riding because I thought it was more gymnastics than skating. I looked at mega ramp riders and thought: that's more stunts than skating. (That was before I started riding transition and dropping in myself.) Wow was I wrong. I have SO much appreciation now for what you guys can do on your skateboards. Just joined Mitchie's Discord channel and will definitely check out his podcast, which I did not know about. Thanks for this.

It's still blows my mind that Tony Hawk and Jason Ellis have a podcast together. They are the ABSOLUTE most polar opposite two people could possibly be. It's so cool.
What a cool guy great interview Jason and Tony.
I've had that vertigo shit for six years now! Docs say it's Menieres disease, but that's just a "too hard basket" diagnosis! Mitchie, if you read this, massage the hell out of your SCM and trap muscles and work on the curvature of your neck! I've had 6 or 7 full on vertigo attacks (like could not lift my head off the ground!) lasting up to 5hrs, plus a heap of other symptoms but it's slowly getting better since working on those muscles and reducing my "forward head posture". I can actually thank this condition for getting me back into skating though! I realised that even when I felt dizzy, my balance was actually ok skating and surfing! And has only gotten better since 👍
Absolutely loved this
Never made an olli in my life. But i love every second of hawk vs wolf. Would love to meet you guys.

Great insight to Mitchie’s evolution to one of the gnarliest skate tricks ever.
I think the reason why the 1260 didn't get as much hype is because it was too clean. Mitchie made it look effortless and was too in the moment to express what happened for the people. Also it happened in a time where there wasn't a lot of excitement about skating events, just kinda happened in 2019
One of the most underrated podcasts out here 🦅V🐺
The Master has become the student. WoW. What can you say about Brusco. The guy is a Legend (: Sk8 Beast :) We have all been blessed by T-Hawk Look it's Sandra Bullock...
Ellis was hilarious this episode! Cheers from PA
I am glad they mentioned the switch 5 to 720 IN A RUN. I commented on the video and made it a point to bring up how psycho that is. Oh and mitchies 9 was absolutely insane as well
great episode!
I love mitchie's podcast too!
Good episode!
thought you were joking by calling him lincoln i was like huh! that works! LOL
I used to skate Rain city back in 04-08 loved that place! So slippery though 😂
It was the gigantic sk8 park tour at rain city skate park. I remember that. Actually was skateboarding and rollerblading at the time and someone stole my backpack with my blades in it at that event and I quit rollerblading because of that haha. Mike V did a boneless 540 and I think Shawn white was there too.
Mitchie’s a Great Dude. his 1st Road to X-Games segment at the orthopedist visit solidified me as a Fan. it was hilarious, then amazing
I wanted Mitchie Brusco pro for Almost Skateboards and have him get his own pro model skateboard! 🤞🤞🤞🤞🙏🙏
Dude kills it, I didn't realize he was from Seattle which is where I am. Crazy to think he started at 3. He's way too underrated.
My first boy looked exactly like that orange board behind Tony except for it was yellow. It was made out of the hardest plastic known to man.
Rad , great show , mitchi awsome
What's amazing is tony is the age he is and he is still in a small group when it comes to a 900 on a regular sized vert ramp after all these years. I watched his first "live".
Just three of the people in skating I shut up and listen to…😂
didnt know mitchie had a show, or battled vertigo. ive dealt with intermittently for years, way to be a beast.
Cheers Boys!!
I locked up on a body jar on the Chiquita Vert Ramp at the Skate Park Of Houston in 1988. It Hurt badly. I was 12.
"Don't give up." - Jason Ellis
Better late than never 🤩
I had no idea about vertigo before but it makes perfect sense that some vert skater who's spinning around all day and getting massive air would be prone to getting it. Hmm I wonder how much more prevalent it is in snowboarding and skiing or other things where people get even more air and spin even more
It's a Monday on a Friday and somehow I am okay with that!
That 1260 is Just mind blowing. Fuxking tornado
That was so good. Guys don't ever say sorry for being in the weeds that's why we tune in. 😁😁. Much respect mitchie. 👊👊
Watching the Birdman the only way I can explain it is kind of a fan boy out because somebody else was such extraordinary skills made this an excellent podcast and Jason is just funny all the time
Mitchie you are spot on in saying that Tony's 900 put a skateboard in every home and what you have done is so advanced that no you won't have the same impact in that way but only because it is so out ahead of what people can relate to but you understand it and that itself is advanced in your understanding but Bro DO NOT EVER UNDER ESTIMATE ON WHAT AN HONOR AND SKILL IT IS THAT THE ONLY PERSON WHO YOU CAN RELATE TO IS THE MAN WHO PUT A SKATEBOARD IN EVERY HOME AND EVEN THEN HE CAN ONLY RELATE TO THE POINT OF THE 900 AND FROM THERE ITS ON YOU TO GIVE HIM THE LOOK INTO WHERE YOU WENT BEYOND! SO YOU ARE IN A CLASS OF YOUR OWN AND ID SAY THAT THOSE OF US WHOS LIFE WAS CHANGED AS WE GREW UP WITH HAWK THE AMOUNT OF RESPECT WE HAVE FOR YOU IS SECOND TO NONE BRO! You don't really know you are making history or it does not feel like it because you are not! Because you are making the moment in the moment! When we get down the road and we all look back don't worry you will be the one who made the moment that made and changed history! So don't worry about it just keep making moment and live in the moment! Most of our histories will be remembered by the moments you guys made! lol So thank you and it's an honor to have been alive as it happens! The most flips I've ever done is flip out and flip people off every time I bailed and nailed the flat! Nobody needs a history of how many ass plants I've put into transitions! It would fill a few years of Transworlds and Thrashers combined! LMFAO! Peace!

That its possible so you skated with that possibility that the impossible had a probability it was probably possible?
