Mistery kept in little turned box....
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This was sooooo fun and really quick to make.
Original name for this is VICTORIAN SNUFF PUZZLE SPHERE BOX....
I have only seen originals to buy that are 100-200 years old but some of the text online says that this things can date up to 2-3000 years.... only a few 100 or 200years old are alive and its quite unique piece to have on the shelf....
Hope you'll enjoy

That was amazing. The fix at the end made it even more useful to see how you could glue a new piece in for the final lid. Pretty cool.

I watched Alan Batty make one of there in boxwood years ago. He still has a demo of it on KZread even now that he's been dead for several years. I was fortunate to take a 5 day class from him about 15 years ago. He taught me much, including hand thread chasing. He was old school production turner. His friend, Bill Jones was a fourth generation ivory/hardwood turner. I watched Bill demonstrate but never got to work with him. Bill also was a very efficient production turner. Bill wrote for woodturning magazines and much was put into two books. Notes from the turning shop and further notes from the turning shop. Both are good books. I love watching you work. Your devotion to turning really shows in your techniques and products!

Very cool project and really interesting design. Nice recovery; it's always good to see ways to fix issues when they occur. Very difficult to see where the mechanism is after you finished it -- just the way one would want a piece like this to be.
