    Very good movie burt lancaster was great and the old man Edmund Gwenn the English character was excellent!!

    Actually, one of the better trailers I've seen for movies at that time. Usually they're rather over dramatic and corny.

    @theLunchMovie ...and 2) this is pre-Marlon Brando. Acting was a few years away from being drastically altered. 20 years after the advent of sound in movies, many actors (especially old fellers like these guys!) were still doing the over-the-top facial / physical gestures that were necessary in silent film so the audience would notice who in the frame was speaking. MR. 880 is a sweet movie with a lot to say about how seniors live. Some here sound young/naive enough that they could learn from it

    Very good movie, Burt Lancaster Is great In an early role. This movie Is not available on DVD.

    Man, they really did not know how to make trailers until the 90s, did they? I mean, I love old movies, too, but trailers were terrible back then.
