I'm so glad you loved this book! Such a great book and I'm so excited for Lost Metal... The way he is able to develop secondary characters like Steris into fan favorites is just so impressive. And the review with spoilers is much more interesting, I say please keep spoilery section:)

Echo a lot of your feelings here. I was enjoying the era 2 novels but this book really blew me away, all round great book in line with the quality of Brandons other series. Also, i liked the spoiler section, definitely include them moving forward.

You seem to always be publishing videos relevant to my current reread of the cosmere. I would love another magic system explained video that thoroughly explains the alomantic grenade cube and the other tech created towards the end of this book. The way the bands actually work and the flying machines and other devices the masked ppl created. I have a loose understanding of how they work but it would be great to get a full explanation.

I'm doing a Cosmere re-read at the moment and I plan on doing videos on those exact topics once I get to Era 2 again

Great video, 8/10! I loved the spoiler-filled section at the end, and as somebody who has read the books, I think the whole thing would have felt a bit disappointing if you hadn't been able to reference specific events. In terms of ways, I think you could be even better, I don't like it that you read out the title for each section every single time. Sometimes it's a nice transition, but often you tell us what the next section will be, then read out the title for the next section anyway. It just seems a bit jarring. I also thought that this particular video could have been improved with perhaps 60 seconds of more discussion of the implications for the wider Cosmere.

Great review! Thank you! I didn't really like the first book, I enjoyed the 2nd, and loved the 3rd! Tbh, I only picked it up because of my investment in all things cosmere and I had to find clues and connection on ghostbloods and khelsier. But yeah, overall I love this series but I deeply miss Vin.

Would have been great at the end of the book when he finds the southern scadrians freezing he takes the first ones Hand and says ‘Life before Death’ but alas. Also is the Set involved with the Ghostbloods at all?

Lol that would have been a huge mind-frick. And no, the Set (as far as we know) is a completely Scadrian organisation with no ties to other worlds or secret societies within the Cosmere. Unless the next book reveals new information, it's safe to consider them completely locked in the Scadrial era 2 bubble.

As much as I love Stormlight, Mistborn Eras 1 & 2 are still my favourite Brando Sando series. I've been so hyped for Lost Metal ever since the crazy worldbuilding reveals and character heights in Bands of Mourning, I can't wait!
