Has anyone experimented boiled linseed oil (BLO) on english willow cricket bat? In my opinion it will not hurt the bat. I agree that BLO does not remain moist as good as raw linseed oil but BLO gets soaked in bat very well and easily would help knock the bat. I would try it out when situation permits as knocking makes hell lot of noise.

If u knock it direct then ur bat will have cracks on the edges of bat and after sometime the bat will be broken
