Brother.. No of Grains are different not because its english or kashmir, but because of its age.. The more Older the wood is the more grain it will gain.. Generally kashmir willow bats have higher grains.. English willow bats gives more performance because it has some air foils inside it which makes it more ping and also light in weight..

@@AshishSingh-nj9bi you will find grains too in kashmir will if it is really a good quality kasmir willow bat. My bat has 11 grains approximately.. bt its very rare

@@AshishSingh-nj9bi grains means lines visible on the face of the bats.. Generally due to indian climate conditions, the grains get intertwined for which we cant count the grains bt in some of the kashmir willow bats you will see the grains.. the older the willow is the lighter the bat will be..
