The Hyperdip instructions I received with my wheel kit specifically say NOT to lay down the wheels. To spray your wheels standing up.

Because they want the can vertical when spraying. the minute you lay the tire down you have to go horizontal with the can..

I ended up buying premium Mustang wheels on Ebay so I jumped 1 inch to 19 inch. Rides well.🚙💨💨💨

Weather an prep spray might been the problem though they look good

I got a set of the Ford Performance wheels. 19x9.5 F and 19×10 R They came with the TPMS sensors and the tool to set them up. Plan is to run 265/40 R19 F and 285/40R19 rear. They are for my new 5.0. On your EB you could go with 19 × 9 and run 255/40R19 like the PP EB have. That is my current car and setup. Hard for me to tell you if the ride is rougher though, because that setup is all I've had.

Very nice! Yeah I’m sure the shorter the side wall the rougher the ride but I’m leaning towards the Rtr tech 7 wheels 20x9.5.

Hyperdip might give you the better finish but being that I'm in Canada with many bad snowstorms Hyperdipping my rear aftermarket diffuser on the S550 was a really bad idea! It's not as durable as the original Plasti Dip and if you have ice or a shiet load of snow buildup stuck or frozen on that Hyperdip, it will just pull it apart and now you're stuck blisters and tears all over your diffuser or whatever part you used it on! The original Plati-Dip that I had sprayed on my front lip add-on is still 100% strong and absolutely no peeling and this was done 6 years ago when I first bought the car.

I just bought a 2021 eb. It has the ford 19" polished aluminum wheels option. I have not seen them in person yet as I bought the car out of state online and dealer is shipping it to me. Looking at the pictures I do not like them and was planning to powder coat them or swap them out for 19" magnetics. If u keep your 18's maybe powdercoat?

Nice! Congrats! Yeah the magnetics look good for sure. Yeah it I was to keep these I think a more permanent color change option would be the route I go. However I have the itch for some new wheels lol

I have 20’s two weeks after I purchased the car no problems and look awesome with one inch drop springs !!!

I reached out to dip your car on the question related to temperature, and they said that as long as it’s above freezing, you should be fine applying it. They do say, however, not to wash your rims with soap before doing this, but to use the predip spray that they have, or some other spray… So maybe that was actually your issue and not the temperature?

You plan on tinting the windows? I think it’ll make your car look great

Avoid 19s theres very limited tire selections.. id get either 20s or 18s and just go wider.. like 20x9.5 or 18x9.5

There's an easy fix for the dip coming off the rim. The process is simple and invective. Look for the vid from Dip Your Car.
