Did he score mid 130s? I’m going by to hunt in MO for the first time last week of oct-first week of November and the place I’m going has a 130 min policy. Trying to get a feel for how these deer score. It seems like MO deer from the videos I’ve seen don’t look big but when i see the shots holding the rack they’ve got tall and pretty symmetrical brows,g2’s,G3’s . For some reason I have a lot easier time eye balling deer in MI & IL than I am with these deer.

I’m not sure what he scored to be honest. Missouri deer seem to have a little different body structure to them so I can see why they might be deceiving to score on the hood.

How come you draw with elbow down? Like that it won’t set your back muscles up to properly pull thru the shot. Are you a trigger shooter?

That's a great point. Nick and I have really worked on getting our form better the past couple of years. You can see me draw in the Breaking Spring Nebraska episode and it is an improvement. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thats a solid buck just about anywhere in the country Jason. Our bucks we target are based off of the quality in that given area.

Yea you can’t no someone else’s area & particular spot they’re hunting. Some good big buck states even have counties & areas where there’s just not high scoring bucks. There’s farms where the 4.5 or 5.5’s are 130 class 8’s. There’s places where a 120” is a stud. It’s to each their own on what they choose to shoot. You can’t no another hunter’s exact situation & circumstances. Why bash a hunter & a channel for what they shot ? Anyone with any class would’ve kept that opinion to themselves & moved on.
