Missouri 575 Acre Moving update: Road trip & moving expenses!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Well if you've ever moved you know that there are always unforseen expenses along the way! In today's episode I'll take you along for some behind the scenes adventure from my last road trip from our Southern Illinois farm over to our new Missouri farm. Today I'll load up the 12 foot bushwhacker batwing mower and my food plot cultipacker, my old food plot drag and we'll hit the road heading west over to the new 575 acre Missouri farm! Oh, we decided to buy a 'cheap' and temporary computer for the Missouri farm so that we can edit videos, and surf the internet during our 2 to 3 day stays at the Missouri farm. And also I'll pick up 18 bags of soybeans in preparation for some food plot drilling action coming out on a future episode!
BACKGROUND:
This is a massive life undertaking and we'd love to have you join us for all of the adventures as this time we will be documenting and sharing the entire journey! Thank you! Here is some background from the last few episodes in case you are new to our channel:
ON THE LAST EPISODE: • Missouri 575 acre farm...
It was a last minute, hasty road trip, but we had some big success! Join me for today's 575 Acre Missouri farm road trip and updates as I take another load of our stuff and equipment from Southern Illinois over to our new 575 acre Southern Missouri farm. I started on multiple bush hogging missions with my KIOTI RX7320 and the RHINO 6' HD bush hog! I'll start to clean up the side yard behind the lean to barn and I'll head down a long deep woods road in reverse to get the trail open up with my Kioti RX7320. This is an overgrown jungle, in some areas it is well over 10 feet high! Join me in the tractor cab as we make some success happen today! Also I will start clearing the pond edges and the pond dam, but that was just a little sketchy! lol.
Thanks for joining me today, if you are new to the channel here is some background on our channel and our new Missouri home and land:
Was this Divine Intervention? While many may not believe, I do keep the faith when it comes to living this life and putting certain priorities above others. Join me for today's episode #1 of our new life, land and Ozarks Missouri adventures! Recently we bought a 575 acre Southern Missouri farm in the Ozarks and today will be our first moving trip, our first road trip after legally owning the new 575 acre Missouri farm, and all of the adventures that go along with it. Join us for today's episode as I begin our moving process from Southern Illinois over to Southern Missouri. Today I'll tackle some of the challenges associated with equipment hauling over such a long distance. In this episode I'll be hauling my KIOTI RX7320 powershuttle cab tractor, my home made chisel disc plow and some other equipment on my equipment trailer. Oh, and I almost had a near disasterous collision in the St. Louis area as a car literally broke down only a few cars ahead of me, so while cruising at 65 mph there was a completely stopped car right in front of me and I had nowhere to go in either lane, left or right of me, so I locked up all of the brakes on my Ford F250 and the equipment trailer, and fortunately I don't tailgate so I had enough room to get my truck and equipment trailer stopped just in the nick of time! Also today I'll give you an up close and realtime view of the dead end gravel road that our new 575 acre Missouri farm sits on, and then a look at our OVER a mile long private gravel driveway as well. This is a very exciting episode and we thank you for joining us! If you enjoyed today's video episode please hit the like button and consider subscribing to join us for all of our new life and land adventures from our new land in the Ozarks of Missouri! Thanks for joining us today and we hope you'll consider joining us on our new Missouri homestead and land purchase and all of our future land adventures, land investment adventures and projects, and all of our new Missouri home rehab projects and much more! Oh and by the way if you are interested in making a Missouri land investment and being our neighbors (literally) on a dead end road, and then a dead end, private, gated road enjoying a stunning place to hunt, or build your dream home or a deep woods retreat then you can contact us at Kapper@kapperoutdoors.com
Thank you, we hope to catch you on our next video adventure! #kapperoutdoors #kapperoutdoors2 #kapperoutdoorsMissouri #missouriland #missourihuntingland

As much as I was saying I was concerned for you guys with this huge investment, I understand! I can just sit there too and enjoy the nature, this beautiful property and wildlife! Breathtaking! I wish we would have at least 20-30 acres plus, so we don't have neighbors close by. Privacy is priceless. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! Yes privacy is never cheap unfortantely! Maybe you should consider a land investment here? We likely will sell a couple of building or cabin parcels.

@KapperOutdoors2.0 that would be really nice! Our background is similar to yours in terms of jobs, and unfortunately one of us has to commute to the big city for work, kids are very young. We can be max 45-50 minutes driving from work. We are not finding anything reasonably priced acreage closer to the city. But time will tell. Thanks and will be watching your content!

July 6, 2024 6.09K. ❤. Kapper missed you getting a hotdog, and no way you raced in that Walmart and only bought two items? Your shopping videos were always fun. I was thinking he surely get enough cables. Could you used the laptop top monitor as the screen and get your computer rolling. Kudos I thought you sold the Batwing, I am so glad you kept it. I sure when you don’t have a long loading and 5 hour drive there be some really fun Shopping Kapper style. And realize when you get to truck enough extra points to go back in for more. Those videos were Golden. ❤. Kid is candy store I loved it.

I was in the "city" yesterday too. I agree, it's miserable. I noticed lots of newish vehicles with fender bender dents and half eaten nasty fast food meals set out on the asphalt in parking lots. Walking across a parking lot is now like crossing a minefield of smashed, rotten food. I guess our new voters need taught some lessons on littering. Nature is the best way to unwind. 👍

Be sure to add inoculant on your beans. Will need to do that since there hasn't been any soybeans grown there for many years. Glad you got the batwing there in good shape. Only thing NOT in good shape is your poor ole DRAG. That thing would make a scrap buyer upset!! lol/smh
