Samson fish are famed for the aggression with which they attack a variety of lures, but one thing Anton and Jayson had yet to try for them was fly. In over 30 metres of water this was a logistical nightmare, but the boys came up with a plan to "release weight" the fly line to the bottom, detach the sinker and strip the fly back through the school of fish, hopefully resulting in a hookup. Needless to say it worked a treat, with Anton getting stretched on a monster 25kg+ fish on the last drop of the day!

Yeh mate, fairly hectic fight! Lucky he didn't go for the reef...
have been waiting for something like this for years - best channel going boys keep it up -and best tackle store in WA
