I completely agree. Especially when you look back at older videos before he actually spoke in them (not that they were bad). I've been tying flies and making lures off and on for 30+ years, on my best day I can't get paint jobs like that. Not to mention Nate's superior wood working.

I would like another Ain't Baitin soon. Maybe a general overview of what you have plans to do next year. Any bigger/challenging products or tasks? Maybe create a store where you sell small baits at more affordable prices in addition to your original merch store. Maybe create a tutorial workshop like blacktail studios or Kyle Royer knives showing YOUR processes and knowledge. The kiddo getting a lil older, maybe make a bait for him to paint to fish with. Maybe have the wife create more fly-tied tails to make a batch of bucktails or spinnerbaits. I'm excited to see what the new year brings! Much love, Nate! 😊

I’ve never caught a catfish on any of these live minnows. I’ve used several of them for years. From four inch to seven inch minnows. It’s always baffled me. But when they die and I use them as cut bait I can catch a channel cat or two, but never a blue or flathead cat. I’m fishing the Ohio River to be specific. I love your videos and appreciate your work and dedication. Thank you for the content sir.

For some reason this fun facts was awesome!! Might have been the facial expressions but not sure. 🤣🤣 Someone already said this but your painting skills are almost unhuman!!!! Your eyes have evolved beyond the "normal" ability to see the color spectrum and how layers change the effect. Also...I'm sure I'm not the only one but the eyes you do for a specific bait are far better than the pre-made ones you use occasionally. Can't wait to be able to special order a few baits if that's possible. Your videos are a special thing that we all love that you share!

another one. you’re the Best, Dude. Nate - could you give a bit of an airbrush ops tutorial while painting your next bait, like: cleaning & setup between colors, nozzles, flow-rates, psi preference, etc., or could you point me toward a MBs video that you’ve already done that highlights your paint ops? I’d like to hear it directly from the one that I consider the Master, eh? I’ve gotten the shaping & sealing down pretty well, but do a poor job (or inconsistent) at physically producing/representing what my initial vision was/is. I’ve encountered a few Happy Mistakes that have turned out to be successful in bass trickery, so I got that going for me…which is nice.
