Okay, so - being the life-long Splinter Cell fan that I am, I immediately recognized those body-moving animations as being more or less just lifted from the first game. The start-point is similar - in SC's case, you're trying to track down some CIA moles that went missing from the new shady dictator's cabinet and in the process of that discover that he actually has his hands on some super dangerous cyber-warfare weapons, which are actually deployed later on. Here, though - I feel like everything past maybe the first two stages were more or less to justify the costs of hiring Steve Blum to do the voice-work (which itself I feel is another attempt to try to keep up with Michael Ironside's legendary voice acting for Sam Fisher).

3:15, Funny how Yuri Lowenthall (the voice of Spider Man in the PS4 games) was in a similar situation when voicing Vilgax (a character originally voiced by Steve Blum) in the Ben 10 reboot.

Always nostalgic seeing and/or hearing ShawnTheColdHeartedBastard again.

11:45 I discovered a glitch. If you run straight at the glass screen and target the guard with a jump kick, it lets you phase right through it. You have to set it up perfectly though.

That is from Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue. Season 2 premiere episode. The legendary Dr. Phineas Phibes; one of my most favorite characters ever!

I could only *vaguely* understand the idea behind the briefing being underwater for stealth purposes but... other than that this is Pants On Head stupid. And how does one, as you pointed out, R&D such a contextually limited device that has at least 3 ways of screwing over the intended recipient? What if they hit him by accident or entirely missed the rock they just so conveniently know is there, this being a spear fired under evershifting ocean currents? What if the aqualung is faulty? What if he CAN'T HEAR SHEEEIT UNDERWATER. Christ on a dark horse, gotta love when the very opening of a game tells you that logic is entirely off the menu, and woe to all ye who enter. Also was the Base Alarms Deactivated bit an Austin Powers reference? If so... *Brilliant!!!*

Uh they fired the harpoon into the Sub's hull. But yeah you are RIGHT! Just wait until he's on the surface you idiots, AND HOW THE FUCK DID THE OTHERS GET THERE WITHOUT AN EXTRA BOAT?! They should've had the briefing in a fake fish that they give to him so atleast it makes more sense since you can fish out in the sea, and then just drive off on their own boat, giving him peace to read/hear it.

Those batarangs at the end did look sweet, but that chess board really caught my eyes. Is it Harry Potter themed, or one of those chess sets that make the king look like a king and not a plank with a t on its top?

It's a chess set I bought from my local museum as part of a traveling armor exhibit. I always wanted a nice chess set and it was just too pretty to turn down.

Having seen the old show the franchise is based on, in hindsight the game is more or less what a special series of episodes would be. The show more or less did like everything low stakes, conspiracies, bio weapons, dictators, now I haven’t seen the show in years but that’s what I remember at best. I think the reason why the movies are way different is because James Bond utterly rebuilt the movie industry on how to do spy thrillers and competition wanted to do their spin on it. Sure the show is entertaining and interesting to see what effects and techniques they could pull off, but it can be dated from the current age we live in looking back.

I like this game even if it is a dumbed down Splinter Cell. I HATE that parachuting section, though. That took me 14 tries to complete.

And now that Halloween's come around and the movie is imminent, I guess I can't put off Five Nights At Freddy's Security Breach any longer. Depending on when Rogue Warrior comes out I'll make a judgment call whether Security Breach comes before Enter the Matrix.

I bought this game from a thrift store just based on the back of the box being a really good pitch. Played it for 5 minutes and then never bothered because it just felt like a watered down Splinter Cell with Manhunt-levels of rudimentary stealth. Such a shame, too. I would've loved an actually good Splinter Cell-styled MI game.

Two is probably the weakest movie of the series but I wouldn’t say it’s bad and I do agree that Mission Impossible 3 isn’t as bad as some said it is. Heck I’d argue it saved the series, add more emotional depths for Ethan as a lead and has the best villain in the whole franchise

Yes, I've heard of it from Rerez's review. Unfortunately Superman Man of Steel is not compatible with the XBox 360 (only about half the original XBox library is) So I can't play it unless I invest in an original XBox... and I don't have much motivation to do that

​@@zacharyroth3028I believe it's due to licensing issues, at least for some games. Others just simply don't work, even with a modded 360. That also explains why not all Xbox 360 games are backwards compatible with the Xbox One, too.
