I don't know if I agree with that statement. In some ways he's the only true Action Hero. No one does what he does. No one really ever has. The only person I could think of is Jackie Chan that would really give everything like Tom Cruise does. Arnold didn't do any of this, Stallone didn't do any of this although Stallone did a lot of things in his own way. I just think he's one of the only true action heroes. He's also the best actor of all the people I just referenced. That was evidenced by the movie Collateral alone. That being said.... I wish Tom could do this kind of stuff forever. Edit- I forgot about Keanu Reaves. He is up there with Tom in many ways.

Mcquarrie deserves so much more credit! He’s a fantastic writer and director and he rarely makes bad films!

Who doesn't love Tom? I mean, he never fails to entertain us with all his movies. A very passionate and amazing actor.

Tom will be 70 and still playing Ethan Hunt and doing his own wild stunts.

Tom Cruise just never gets old as he can can run like Bolt at 60👏👏🔥. Im really looking forward to watch “Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning” and I can not wait to watch it😆. The Mission Impossible series are so iconic as I loved Rogue Nation, Ghost Protocol and Fallout👍. Tom Cruise for me deserves all the respect, praise and applause as he keeps entertaining us the audience by performing great action/stunt sequences in his films till this day. RESPECT

Tom, particularly MI movies will always have a special place in my heart. My father and I always watch his movie even after I came from work and did have not enough sleep, I stayed awake watching his movies with my papa. The last movie I watched on the big screen with my father is MI: Fallout, then we had dinner and a great chat. I miss my father, he died last year and I will continue watching his film even if Papa is already gone. My father enjoyed watching his movies and he also saw the making of the movie and he appreciate Tom's hard word. My father is a hard-working man, one reason why he loves Tom so much.

It's great how the different protagonists appear on the scene as the action unfolds. There's always a surprising and unexpected thing happening, like the yellow Fiat.

what a complete movie this is, full on entertainment action packed thriller plus comedy and this is just part one.

Just watched the movie last night. This cast is simply amazing and bringing Henry Czerny back is brilliant!! Henry's voice and acting absolutely pulls you into the scene not to mention the old school nostalgia (like Top Gun). Yes, great stunts and great action....but it takes an amazing cast to make you lean forward in your chair and hinge on every spoken word spoke. There isn't any politics or hidden agendas (cough...Disney...cough) just straight up fantastic story telling. Well done and thank you for the emotional roller coaster.

Max doesn't get a ton of screen time in Tom's first Mission... but the way Vanessa Kirby embodies her voice and essence in Fallout was so impressive!!

A more beautiful scenery could not be found, worthy of such a presentation. Rome, the eternal city, pure fascination ! Among other things, it was the setting for many scenes filmed directly in the city.

Well they weren't exaggerating, this was the best M:I so far. Incredible, bravo Tom, McQ and cast.

I always had the greatest expectations with every new MI movie and the whole cast could somehow even exceed my expectations. Every single time! Tickets already bought!

Mission impossible is my favorite action franchise. I like Bourne and wick a lot, but i cant get enough mi. Im so glad they keep it going.

I have first seen Tom Cruise in the M.I. movie back in the first offering of this franchise and it was my thought that he will never stop doing another Mission Impossible and truly he never did. Through the years, this franchise has produced some of the incredible and fantastic stunts and scenes that will be hard to forget even the young generation will feel amazed. Tom Cruise is absolutely brilliant , his energy and incredible focus even in TOP GUN is hard to match despite of his age. Rebecca Ferguson is another member of the cast that really shock me since she first appeared in M.I. 3 , her prowess in that MMA moved against a tall and big opponent still fresh in my memory is simply amazing her beauty is extra ordinary that keep you look back at her again and again. The Mission Impossible franchise will be hard to match that's for sure.

The movie is incredible. Saw it 3 times opening weekend. Has surpassed Ghost Protocol as the best movie in the franchise. Paris is the most interesting character in the movie. Pom's screen presence is off the charts. I want to see a movie about her character! A prequel perhaps.

Ahahahahahahahahahahaja This movie is not even a Mission Impossible anymore, more like a Fast and Furious with Tom Cruise: he's a great actor but recently he is so in love with his own myth that his stunts are the only thing he cares about. It's just action over action, but everything else, most notably plot, characters development and dialogues just totally sucks. To be tolerant it can surpass Mission Impossible 3.

Mcquarrie is such a legend, people forget that he is behind one of the best action films of the last 20 years way of the gun. There are some legendary shots in that film. A must watch, if you want to see the soul of this Director.
