Just the way this trailer is put together, how the "normal" trailer music slowly builds up and transforms into the Mission Impossible theme while the action on the screen just gets bigger, bolder and better... sheeeeeeeesh. That's a statement of confidence. Seriously, all the franchises out there deserve to find their own Christopher McQuarrie. The things he's done with MI as a whole... it's not "just" directing another [in his case, series] of movies. It's elevating the franchise to a whole new level. If they're done with it after Part 2, Amazon needs to pay triple the price for him to direct the new James Bond. He'd be perfect for it.

@@Miaumietz1988 nope. Not a chance. Not until mission impossible has a 60 year legacy . This teaser had multiple homages to old bond.
This trailer was pure confidence. Very little plot details, it just showed us some flavour and ended on a high note. Classic.
MI has to be one of the best movie franchises honestly. Each movie, one after another, had been greater than the last...all have been consistently good since MI3. Can't wait to see this 🙌🏻
Adam said it best, almost no dialogue, great choice of music & imagery to engage us and accept this mission. Rogue Nation is still my favorite and I love that I not only care for Ethan Hunt but also Benji, Luther, Ilsa & Brandt.
These films are epic the fact that they just keep getting better each time hats off to everyone involved TC is a legend 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Editors: This is how you cut a teaser, that last shot with the Motorcycle, I literally said "Holy Shit!" Fantastic to see Hayley Atwell shine in something other than the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
And they recently filmed part 2 in my home country of South Africa. Cannot wait to see this movie next year.
The mission impossible movies are the best and coolest James Bond movies ever made.
Tom Cruise never disappoints the audience. The man is a true daredevil, a perfectionist, and genius when it comes to his movie stunts and production. He risks his life for the audience. The Mission Impossible movie series is probably one of the greatest series in action movie history. He is a legend. Never forget that.
This movie looks like it has some No Time To Die vibes

Thought the same thing. Looks epic.
I unabashedly really enjoy "Mission: Impossible II" its the most 2000's movie ever and over the top fun. Love the franchise, all of the movies. Looking forward to "Dead Reckoning, Part One."
The fight on top of the train is a real stunt on a real train that is moving with the camera crew and actors harnessed onto the roof.
Love whenever Hector brings up the Fast series and Fast Five coming out a year before The Avengers haha
Like Augustin was saying put points of view of Tom Cruise as a person to the side, the guy crafts really good stories to watch.
Imagine we have superior ironman solo movie set outside the main mcu timeline like Logan with Tom Cruise in it. Mann i hope it happen someday

Loved this trailer just for the Visuals alone. Chris Mcquarrie cinematography just the best! Love that Tom seems to be including building the extended universe of MI. "Rogue Nation"
Look at all those chickens!
🤣🤣🤣 I love the M.I. franchise. I feel I am definitely like Agustin, in that I probably couldn't tell you what any of these movies are about (maybe 1 and 2). LOL. I just love them. All I know is that they better not kill Luther or Benji. I love seeing Hayley joining the cast. Rebecca and Vanessa still look bad ass. I'm excited to see it.
I don't want them to kill off Rebecca Ferguson's Ilsa Faust. Or else I am walking out.
Love seeing this and I hope you guys do trailer reactions for more non comic-book based films as well. For example, I'd love to see you guys react to and hear your thoughts on the John Wick franchise as well when the trailer for the 4th film drops.
There is a video about the details and behind the scenes of the incredible jump that he did..please take a look at that video
LOVE this series! A fairly rare series where the films actually get better and better, and not mind-numbingly silly or stupid. #4 is the first one I really loved, the one I can watch once or twice a year, every year.
I like that when you talk the video quiets down a bit to let us better hear you!
Epic reaction to an epic trailer
About the throwing a locomotive off a cliff, Back to the Future 3 already did that. :D
This looks so good
Would love to know your thoughts on Top Gun Maverick! I think it's Tom's best film yet! Phenomenal 🔥
As a long time MI fan (I mean BOTH the tv shows btw) I gotta counter the idea this franchise should end. Mission Impossible is the sister series to Star Trek. Both were designed to be ensemble pieces with multiple diverse characters. If Trek can evolve and continue with multiple spin-offs this can too. Paramount should exploit the IP on multiple VERTICALS! 😜
I cannot wait for this
Love from India❤️
Love the M.I. series

Great reaction - is there a particular reason as to why the channel's videos are 1920x960 as opposed to 1920x1080? And was that Esai Morales aka Del from Ozark as the villain?! And yeah Cruise has been a credited Producer/Executive Producer on 19 movies to date including all the MI movies!

Q. In the last Mission Impossible, Henry Cavil's turn would mean that they probably grabbed the wrong guy in that bathroom fight. So is the evil plan not foiled by stopping Cavil?

This looks pretty good. MI tends to be the only Tom Cruise stuff I watch bc my husband likes them but I’ve always disliked this man and my instincts were confirmed while he was filming Top Gun on my old ship CVN 71. My friends who were still stationed there said he was horrible and really rude to the sailors.

Kind of ironic, right? That the top gun movies become the strongest recruitment program for the us navy but he is rude to your friends.,
Big fan of all the MI films, but I'm a fan of the original 1960s TV series, and unfortunately, I don't think these films should carry the 'Mission: Impossible' name. Here's a list why: 1.) Too many missions go wrong; Ethan Hunt spends most of his time improvising to salvage the day. Proper IMF missions go without a hitch, even the ones that appear to have been blown; it's all part of a very elaborate plan. Why was an agent 'captured'? Because they were meant to! 2.) Proper IMF missions do not steal; they make the bad guys voluntarily give up the item and hand it over to IMF. Getting them to hand over the NOC List, or the Rabbit's Foot is more like it! They actually did it in MI2. Ambrose gave 'Stamp' the cure. 3.) Proper IMF mission do no kill; they make the bad guys kill each other (usually by manipulating them to turn against each other). MI2, Ambrose killed Stamp. 4.) Too many IMF agents have turned bad; Phelps, Ambrose, Musgrave, Walker - CIA not IMF, but he belongs on this list. IMF are basically doing a bit of internal housekeeping, instead of dealing with external threats! 5.) IMF are a clandestine organisation, away from prying eyes. It should be a team leader, working from their own individual location (usually their apartment), choosing the agents they want and briefing them.... That's it! Why? Because they have no affiliation with any government branch. But in MI2, Hunt meets Swanbeck, MI3, their base is under the DMV, MI4, Brandt and Hunley are discussing the IMF in front of a government committee! MI5, the CIA are involved???!?!??!?!! Doesn't sound like a clandestine organisation to me, especially when it seems half of the government knows of your existence! Imagine if the US government know the existence of MIB! IMF should be the same. Plus, it'll be pretty hard to disavow someone who knows exactly where your location is based. 6.) And finally (and this one bugs me the most as a IMF fan), the 'missions' do not sound impossible at all; in fact, most of them are forgettable. Proper missions, when heard, should make the audience think, 'Holy s**t, that sounds impossible! How on earth are they going to pull that off?' MI1, photograph a theft (surveillance job), MI2, not even on the tape, can't even remember what Swanbeck tells Hunt, MI3, rescue a captured agent (an SAS team could do that), Ghost Protocol, break into Kremlin and steal microfilm (theft), Rogue Nation, retrieve plutonium (barter an exchange).... which they almost did within 5 minutes of the film. None of them sound very imaginative, none of them have the 'How are they gonna pull it off?' mystery, none of them gets the audience's creative juices flowing on how they would do it. Read any of the original missions from the 1960s, and they would make you truly intrigued as to how the IMF would pull them off. Anyway, you can probably tell I've been thinking of these for a while now. Rant over. For fairness, good things about the films. 1.) OTT, over-elaborate missions to complete a simple operation (especially MI3 to capture Davian). Standard IMF procedure to jump through unnecessary hoops. 2.) Mask-wearing (probably the only reason why the name 'Mission: Impossible' is used). 3.) Tom Cruise's stunts.... BADASS!!! All on camera, all for real! No CGI crap we see in almost every other film nowadays.
Saw this tonight before top gun maverick. It’s looks good but it’ll have to be really good to impress me more than top gun maverick.
Wait, is the IMF now the villains?
I am actually so pissed we have to wait another year for this movie
No matter what kind of plot , action scenes , new characters etc , I just hope thoose Mission Impossible dead reckoning 1 and 2 didn't kill off Rebecca's Ilsa character
Do a reaction for The Grey Man- Feels like Captain America Civil War kinds vibe, do you think Russo is building a Spy Thriller universe from Extraction to Grey Man .. to whatever is next in line?
Ever since Ghost Protocol, Mission: Impossible began to mould itself into a more James Bondisque tone, while keeping it's own uniqueness alive. And I loved that. Except for Mission: Impossible II, which I don't even count it within the franchise, I really have no complaints against Mission: Impossible. III was kinda okayish, but it did bring back the franchise back to life. So, Mission: Impossible is the only franchise in Hollywood which I fully expect to be not woke. It is said that this is the last installment of Mission: Impossible franchise. And if it is so, I fully expect a straight and grand goodbye to Ethan Hunt, and not being replaced by a 'stronger, better, superior, female character', or by any character for that matter.

We are
NAH ..... i need to see the JAMES BOND/MISSION IMPOSSIBLE movie .... lets stop all this BS and go all the way with both characters in the same movie ... i dont know what the story line will be, whether they are friends or foe ... but it needs to happen
I swear Tom cruise is going to die from doing one of these stunts some day. All it takes is one little thing to go wrong in the stunts he does and it's over. I understand they are very meticulous about about making sure everything is safe but that is still not 100 percent and I'm sorry but Tom cruise isn't a official stunt man. He does them because of his ego and that idea he has that nothing is ever enough and he needs the thrill in order to feel alive still. ( which is probably a result of his scientology beliefs)
That's NOT impossible...
