Missing: Sebastian Rogers & Madeleine McCann Analysis

Ойын-сауық

There is a striking similarity between the cases. Statement Analysis deals with what one tells us, but also with what one does not tell us. Does this match with Behavioral Analysis?

Same thing happened when I was 14. My 3 year old brother was home with us, and suddenly he was nowhere. We searched the house, the perimeter, the neighborhood. My father drove an hour to get there and help. Shortly after, I found him under an overturned foam mattress on my other brothers' bunkbed. So scary. And I was just a young teen sister, not a parent. I will say that we had not called 911 yet, but it was 1986, and we didn't have a phone.

My little boy did this, too. At the age of nearly 4, we had achieved potty training. But they he sort of went backwards while playing a Star Wars game, not wanting to take the time to use the bathroom. He had that game taken from him once before for doing this…about a week. He did not want to loose privileges again but had messed his britches. So he went and hid in the garage but we didn’t know. We could find him anywhere and after 15 minutes I called 911 fearing time was not on our side. When he popped out from an entertainment center we had stored away, the lady police officer gave him the what-for.

The mom’s emotions seem more like a grieving hopeless mom versus fear, worry, panicked mother which would be more consistent with a lost child situation. There’s no energy behind the emotions even after only 7 days.

The part where the stepdad said "and now we have a worried Mom" to me sounds like he's blaming Sebastian for worrying his mother by disappearing. Like if Sebastian walked back in the house, the stepdad would probably start yelling at him and saying "how dare you put your mother through all this worry?" It would have been much more appropriate to say "and now we have a missing child (and we're asking for your help to find him)." But they are very focussed on self. They want to tell us what THEY are feeling. They want to tell us that the Mom is worried. And the stepdad is annoyed about the Mom being worried. WHAT ABOUT SEBASTIAN? WHAT EMOTION IS HE FEELING?

What's notable to me was how dramatic the mccann's were from the instant Kate noticed Maddie was missing, "I just knew she'd been kidnapped." When my daughter was 4 or 5, she disappeared while we were in a large store. Did I panic? You betcha. But, did I immediately collapse in a heap on the floor convinced that she had been kidnapped? Uh, no. A million scenarios were going through my head. Was a stranger abduction one of them? Yeah, it was. But, it wasn't any more likely than anything else. (Btw, she was "hiding" inside a clothing rack Lol) If the mccann's catastrophized other situations, I think I'd chalk it up to melodramatics. However, apart from Maddie's disappearance, they seem fairly balanced, almost stoic, which makes this situation strikingly anomalous.

Not seeing him in our yard, where he had been a few minutes before, I loudly called and called his name, which attracted the neighbors, and immediately all began scouring the neighborhood, calling his name, too. The lady was on the way back to the taverna after having just checked on her own children. Would that make you consider kidnapping as an option?

I always thought that they were neglectful by not having a babysitter for the kids. Especially in a foreign country! I don't know if they did anything but they've done a lot more media and to get the word out than parents of other missing kids. Like ASHA DEGREE. Her parents for sure are guilty. Specifically I believe the Dad did something. I think Sebastian walked off and got stuck somewhere or someone else picked him up. He was being left alone up to 14 hours a night with the Xbox live and computer at his father Seth Rogers house. He could have met someone online, or on snap chat or kick. Literally anything could have happened. Seth was complaining his game systems still haven't been returned. I think it's central to the case.

The McCanns are such odd people. It was the jump to she's been kidnapped that was so weird. Especially being they said she told them she and her brother were crying for them the night before. Maybe it was a dream maybe not but that would make me think she went looking for me and is somewhere walking the complex...I wouldn't jump to she was taken. There is no doubt in my mind they were medicating those kids. I would have my other kids fully checked over at a local hospital too. Who knows what was do e to them! I also doubt a trafficker is going to take one when 3 are available for the taking.

@@GetlostandwanderThe custody case in a whole other State has nothing to do with Sebastian at all. You understand that Judge has no jurisdiction at all in Tennessee? He is a New Mexico Judge. He could not decide Faith's case based on a child that has never even lived in New Mexico. There are no CPS cases pertaining to Faith in Tennessee or in New Mexico either 1. Faith is the only Child that Judge is on a case for. Not for Sebastian. Therefore he could never base Chris having Parental rights to see his Daughter from a completely different marriage, on Sebastian being missing in Tennessee. Sebastian is not Chris child. CPS cases do not cross State lines like that. Only a Judge in Tennessee would have access to records for Sebastian, CPS or otherwise. That is why Chris gets Faith for the Summer. That Judge in New Mexico would have no idea who Sebastian even is, much less CPS cases in Tennessee pertaining to him.

Peter thank you so much, I have one thought that I cannot shake because I think it is important. I think this was premeditated murder because of the day she had planned for him on Sunday, beginning with breakfast that she cooked, which as a Mom is a big deal to cook for your child. She referred to this as "a fun fact", that she had cooked breakfast. She contacted family by phone and he had some fun conversations that morning. She took him shopping and bought hm snacks, and also a "colossal" (her words) popcorn at BJ's, followed by going bowling and playing video games at the bowling alley, followed by dinner with family at a restaurant that they loved, having his last meal which was his favorite fish. Then, he is never seen again after leaving that restaurant. That all cannot be coincidence, that is so much to do in one day! As a Mom who raised 2 children, this would have exhausted me and tapped all of my energy, and probably my kids too, it is frankly very telling. At the very beginning of this case when I heard about all this stuff, which also would cost a fortune as well, I knew she planned out his last fun day before 'disappearing' her son. Have you analyzed the video where she talks about all these things they did that day? I would love to hear what you think, and if that may change your opinion to a premeditated event. Thank you so much Peter, take good care.

Body language, the attacks on people helping, leaving the house after TBI tells her not to. Not helping with the search. The fact that Chris has admitted to using a belt on a special needs child. Also shocked that Chris has gotten his daughter under the circumstances.

It’s all absolutely unbelievable. I do not believe that any mother living and not knowing how or where their birthed child is, could act the way she does. She has more to tell about the disappearance of her son, Sebastian. But it’s very obvious that she is being protected. By whom? Those also in the know. Close fam and possibly some friends with connections. It Stinks to high heaven and I’m surprised no one with high moral values and some clout, has it stepped in to get to the bottom of it.

Yes, intentionally being seen back in Memphis asap. If you go from the start of the 3 hour phone call, add a short time spent in Hendersonville around midnight, and consider a need to shower and try to get his head right after returning to Memphis, the time adds up just right with drive time. I also don't believe the lights were seen around 3. I think LE wants everyone believing it was just a trash truck, and midnight doesn't align with that story. The only thing I disagree with Peter on this not being premeditated. I believe this was planned, and that it ties in with the custody of Faith.

I believe it was pre-meditated by Chris and he coerced Katie to do the unthinkable or he did it himself and is framing Katie and has convinced her she did . Chris has no alibi to where he was all day Sunday. Why wasn't he with his whole fmily bowling and out to dinner on his day off? He was there when they got home and drugged Katie and Sebastian in their drinks. She fell asleep and Chris took Sebastian and had a prepared grave and his parents helped. Katie is so confused and is following Chris's lead. Chris would not cover up for Katie if she did it. He will frame her when the heat gets close and cut a deal. CPS visit enraged him and I think he was not supposed to be around Sebastian till invesigation was over month of February. Also the fact that it would cause problems with his custody hearing on March 3 2024. Katie was forced to leave her home so Chris could silence her. Why would Chris cover up for his 5th wife? I think Chris hates women children an animals.

Feels like the timeline data in the Sebastian Rogers case is mixed up. Seems like Sebastian went "missing" earlier than we are being told. We only have Katie's version of what happened that evening, and she is not reliable, in my opinion. The "3 hour" phone call was AFTER whatever went down with Sebastian, imo. It was a "planning or clean up" call, so that big mouth Proudfoot could lay down the narrative, tell Katie how its going to go, and pound it into her so that she doesn't mess up when he makes the eventual obligatory call to law enforcement. It is even possible that whatever happened to Sebastian, happened much earlier while CP was still home, and the plan was to delay and then make up a story about the child leaving home himself by going out the front door. Sadly, I feel he was hurt badly and was taken away by CP. Katie (like McCann mother) knows what happened, needs to be re-interrogated relentlessly.

If I had gone out leaving my 3 year old on his own, then returned to find he'd gone and the place had not been broken into, I would have been guilt-ridden thinking he had managed to get out by himself.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom on statement analysis. Your observations are helpful. I agree with you that Katie went silent right from the beginning by not calling 911. For some strange reason she also muted herself on the three way call and Chris did all the talking which led to misinformation about what Sebastián was actually wearing when he went missing. To this day she is still silent about what really happened that night and only wants to focus on their good day. Have a wonderful day. Thanks for explaining the crystal clear remarks as well. They were bugging me. 😊

How come kate can say about the day ? But all she says about the two getting home is ,he went to bed and said goodnight puppies goodnight mom love you .oh and HE put the rubbish out .IMO he NEVER went home that night ,no prove he entered that house ,no camera ,no scent .

Peter Hyatt, an absolute legend in the field of linguistic psychology. Deception Detective and Martin DeCoder are also fascinating to hear, but Peter is the front runner IMO due to both his analytical tenacity and the simplicity/transparency of his presentation. Although I have learnt so much from all three of these guys, the wool won't be getting pulled over Peter's eyes any time soon. Respect to Richard D Hall for the initial YT introduction to Mr. Hyatt. The acoustics tech is fine btw.

In one of the early interviews Chris Proudfoot, the stepdad, said something very interesting. He said when LE came to their house for the first time they looked at the cellphone used by Sabastian and praised Chris and Katie for the very limited use of the internet and cellphone. **I call BS - I believe a lot of information can be found on a device used by Sabastian. Chris P and Katie P have that device ( my opinion ) *We now know that Sabastian is a gamer, played online with other gamers, and used a cellphone to play online games and talk to people. Find 'THE REAL - cellphone that Sabastian used

Sebastian played online games on a phone with his dad as he played call of duty mobile with Seth , uncle taco and another friend of Seth’s. Seth had also said that he had a 2nd phone at his home which I think is the one that he used for gaming at Seth’s. He also had a switch in each home. All the proudfoots had all of their electronics given back to them . Seth hasn’t got all his back and I believe they still have Sebastian’s switch from Seth’s house from what he has said .

Yes all three parent were interviewed separately in separate buildings allegedly. Also if you want to know what tbi have done in this case or any case that the tbi is involved in you can go to tbi newsroom/ Sebastian Rogers and they list in theirs everything that they have done including what searches took place. They usually have a page set up like this one for every amber alert child . I always like to check the pages as not all creators know about this page or don’t promote it

@@BrandyinIndy I do know her mother's history. Frances Rosenbaum also married a man who murdered his son-in-law to marry his daughter. Katie has a sibling with with criminal charges. Seth describes Sebastian as a baby who didn't sleep well and indicated Katie drank excessively. Katie entered the Navy, possibly to escape very serious difficulties with her child and their home life. It's unusual, and could indicate a lack of a maternal bond.

Just because 2 phones are connected for a call doesn't mean a person is sitting and talking at each end. The phones could just be laid on the side in their respective locations whilst their owners are away doing something else.
