This is my favorite miss usa production of all times.

I remember I showed this contest back in 1987 and my favorite was Arizona. After 30 years, I am showing it again and still thinking Miss Arizona deserved to win.

Between the beautiful sets, the great music, Bob Barker and a gorgeous top 5, this was the best Miss USA ever. way to go Albuquerque!

Mark, i agree with you, for me was the best Miss USA ever, love the opening, the stage, music, and nobody like Bob Parker, he was the best.

Miss Texas was overrated. She looked older than she was. Miss Arizona should have won this. She worked that stage!!!!

For me Arizona was the complete package, beautiful, love her eyes, smart, all in one beautiful girl, today i still don't understand why she didn't win.

Although Florida was my pick, I would have taken Arizona over her!

Clear winner without a doubt - Arizona. No question about it

Miss Arizona Diane Martin went to Ball State University in Indiana and moved to Arizona for Pageants. She was also Miss Arizona for Miss America 1985. Also she was briefly married to Barry Williams Greg Brady from the Brady Bunch

The judges clearly liked TX, but I suspect Florida did get some 1st place votes.

The final question segment was flawed. Notice that Bob Barker chose which pictures to talk about for everyone but Florida. That’s unfair. Arizona had the most charming interaction, and Georgia is the most beautiful. How did Texas win?? I think the producers wanted a three-peat, so the fix was in.

Yes, her mother didn't realize what she'd done. But Miss Missouri could have rescued that moment with a witty, or forgiving reply at the end. The reason Texas had five wins in a row was because they were coached by experts. The duo called GuyRex.

Arizona.... Just Gorgeous! Very Jane Russell, old Hollywood Glamour!

I would have crowned Arizona or Georgia (the other would be runner up). 2nd runner up Texas, 3rd r u Florida, and last Missouri (4th r u)

My favorites: Texas, Illinois, Mississipi and Georgia.
