Un verdadero deleite apreciar los desfiles del MISS USA y del MISS UNIVERSE en esa época, espectaculos memorables. Y pensar que esos abrigos desataron la ira de Bob Barker al grado de renunciar a la Organizacion MIss Universe.

I’ve always thought Miss Arizona was one of the most stunning women I’ve ever seen at Miss USA. She was easily the best in swimsuit and every other round too.

The set is amazing! I miss these real sets in Miss Universe. Nowadays it’s just green screen and so generic.

Miss FLorida is so gorgeous and her name CLo is beautiful

The voice of the female announcer announcing their height and weight and hair and eye color is lovely- like clear as water and so soothing. She should have been a singer or radio anouncer

West Virginia and Missouri are gorgeous. Women with these body types from 1987 probably wouldn't even win a local pageant today, unfortunately.

I like that these are the days before the dreaded breast implants.

by far... the most beautiful girl was ARIZONA!!! Wonder if she had won, might she had been MU 1987???

I miss the beauty of the women back then w those beautiful violet, blue and green eyes. Nowadays Latinas w acorn eyes are considered beautiful like Kim K and JLO. Forever miss these days-The concept of beauty changes with time- this swimsuit completion is so classy, the music and all. Now its kind of trashy lol

I think the judges made up their choices after Chile’s interview... but I think Arizona could’ve been first runner up. She is stunning! And, if her interview was good, she could’ve given Chile a run for the money
