Miss Korea 2007 Honey Lee is a national treasure. I haven't seen the same caliber that Korea sent in Miss Universe. Honey Lee could have been Miss Universe herself! Recently, I think Mina Sue (Miss Earth 2022) should pursue Miss Universe - she's the best Miss Korea I have seen except for Honey Lee.

Korea’s biggest achievement in MU is from year of 2007 where Honey Lee ended in 3rd RU position. She’s the one of few candidates that was favorited to win that year’s MU along with Riyo Mori from Japan. Beauty, brain, and behaviour she is.

Those who say Korea’s beauty standard is so high and it’s unplaced…in Korea, Miss Korea competition usually look at m status/ background /school/ etc vs beauty…. Most “beauties” are influencers or celebs. Even in Korea, they say Miss Korea wasn’t the “prettiest” of the other contestants. That being said, they are still beautiful.

@TheYellowK-popgirl most of koreans look good after surgeries not only face but most of them go for body shape surgeries, bcz 90% koreans don't have nose bridge by birth, also they have wide face and mono lids so they go for surgeries, everyone is Buetiful in their own way, but in world beauty standards east asians can't compete. Also east asians seems to have less confidence about their appearance and presence. Most of them don't have the charm that can see in other countries girls, something seems lack

Unlike 20 years ago, Miss Korea and Miss Universe competitions are forgotten in Korea. Nobody is interested in those beauty contests anymore. No glory for Miss Korea, no beauties go for it. Beauties go for entertainment business. I respect the contenders, but it is hard to say they are the representatives of Korean beauty.

Miss Korea 2007 Honey Lee is a national treasure. I haven't seen the same caliber that Korea sent in Miss Universe. Honey Lee could have been Miss Universe herself! Recently, I think Mina Sue (Miss Earth 2022) should pursue Miss Universe - she's the best Miss Korea I have seen except for Honey Lee.

Those who say Korea’s beauty standard is so high and it’s unplaced…in Korea, Miss Korea competition usually look at m status/ background /school/ etc vs beauty…. Most “beauties” are influencers or celebs. Even in Korea, they say Miss Korea wasn’t the “prettiest” of the other contestants. That being said, they are still beautiful.

Also east asians seems to have less confidence about their appearance and presence. Most of them don't have the charm that can see in other countries girls, something seems lack
