Contestants their usually control their tummy's to move like a wave so basically it's forcing your body and it's very different with walking naturally because the pageant will become boring.

What made her powerful, even through watching her from the screen, is that she doesn't wish for the crown. She enjoys and gives her best for each portion she gets into. No stress, just content with whatever is given, but at the same time feeling it, giving your best to it. That's the beauty of not always being the winner in life. It humbles you. It gives you content and the confidence that even if you lose, you won't regret a thing because it has happened to you a lot in life and that you've learned to anticipate it with such genuine positivity. So she wasn't scared of not being the winner, she made every moment memorable to her, savouring it, as if it's her last, enjoying every walk, every smile, every eye contact, every answer, everything. Plus, that passion for children, her creativity, is what added so much spice to her that no one. NO ONE can ever compare. She's so strong that she became so unstoppable from the moment she was crowned as Miss Universe Philippines 2018. She's so strong that the haters always try to justify that the contest was already fixed because they knew their bets are not on Catriona's level to oppose with. She's so strong that the haters are pushing her imperfections and highlighted her mistakes just to gain sympathy from others who got full of jealousy. What stood out is her poise. She did not get rattled. Whoever prepped her for this did an excellent job. My God, that walk. She owned the room the minute she stepped out.

The most iconic MU for me will always be Catriona Gray. I got goosebumps seeing her walk, talk and just expressing herself, her speech is just so spot on and so full of feels and sincerity that it reaches out to ur heart and honestly I doubt we could find another MU that could top her.

Her performance was so strong from start to finish. Her win was already so obvious even before the top 5. Had it not been with the excellent program, production and overall show, it would have been a boring fight. But not to say that other candidates were weak - the batch is the strongest in years! I'm here again, rewatching Catriona's MU highlights. I still remember watching this live on our classroom, with my classmates even our teachers were late because we are all immersed with watching MU. Queen Cat really set the bars high for MU👏

Not even a Filipino, but as Asian I'm so duper proud of her.. She is a clear winner from the beginning. Not just a Beautiful face, she has the intelligence, charisma and elegance that most contestants don't possess. And yet, she is so natural ! This complete package probably comes one in a decade.
