So wonderful to see these ladies. Sad that a few gave have passed but happy they brought them together. Very sad that the same didn’t happen for those who were there the celebrate the 100th!

@@allanbrown6318 So disappointed w/MAO after Gretchen took over and ruined a 60 year tradition for me! My first was Jacqueline Mayer and never missed another until…..2020 and 2022 which were unwatchable - entirely too much talking and zero entertainment.

I know, but they have taken its entertainment value away. It was a beauty contest until 1936 and when they brought talent in, the popularity started. It is what it is and I’m sure it will not last too much longer.

I prefer the 50th Anniversary tribute (1971), it had a song and dance number, it wasn't rushed, and the former titleholders were able to walk down the runway elegantly. The 100th Anniversary was just too bad to even watch.
