They are. God made them especially for us. To partner with us and comfort us and enrich our lives. Those that have never loved a pet are to be pittied. I much prefer time spent with pets than with most people. They are innocent and full of love.

I've rescued 3 cats from the street, personally, they asked for help and we helped them. One thing I've noticed, cats genuinely understand that you've helped them and they don't forget that. You can adopt a cat from a shelter and they'll be a friendly cat. But the ones you pick of the street yourself? They _adore_ you. It's a fun game, I highly recommend it

Just took in a stray myself and named him Charlie got him all set up at the vet treated for parasites etc. Fixed. He can jump literally 9 feet high and has a wicked long tail and fangs... beginning to wonder if he is part bob cat or something?? Huge claws too ive never seen a cat druel cuz his fangs are too big Haha but he's wicked soft and cute amd vocal and friendly and a part of the family now! 4thcat inthe crew and 2 of them are 17 brother and sister never been apart since birth! George and Layla in my videos. Both still healthy jumping hunting playing etc.think they have 5 more years left in them tbh

Having rescued animals myself, I can say, & anyone who has ever picked up an animal from the street will say, it's not actually divine intervention, but a lot of resources & energy & integrity. I wouldn't know where to start as although I owned a cat i was young and i don't have the specialist knowledge to save strays. These people did and I'm glad they do. Also rescue can be difficult as some strays can react unpredictability and can also carry virulent diseases in a clear cut case such as this i would notify my local animal shelter but, at least where i live we have free roaming cats that are owned by various people so identifying strays can also be a challenge. So not everyone is able to help and you shouldn't judge those who can't just be glad there are those who can.

@@yaaasqueen1043 I already mentioned that in my comment if you had read it. Also, with the 'virus that shall not be named' many shelters and sanctuaries can't operate at the moment. My partner who lives in the states found a stray and the shelter near her literally is closed down so there's not much she can do about it.

One time I watched a Japanese movie about war crimes and there was an episode: a cat thrown into the sea of hungry mice. This scene turned me to the upside down guy. My friend just rescued a kitten found in a dumpster. It's mother and siblings were all dead. The poor thing had 2 types of lung worms and almost died. It took a long time in an oxygen chamber, medication and physical therapy to bring her home. She still needs medication and therapy for a while, but she is doing very well now. Money was the hardest part to raise. I ended up sending them over $700 myself just so the vet wouldn't cut off treatment. They owe many thousands of dollars still, but it was worth saving the baby's life!!😸🙏🏻💕💖🐈

Poor baby. I cried and cried for this poor cat. I was hurting right a long with him. I love cats so much and try to help all the cats that I can. I rescue cats from the pounds. Been a shelter volunteer, seen cats and dogs in horrific condition, just like How's Paws. Seeing this cat in the beginning brought tears to my eyes, thank you to all of you for your hard work!

I found my cat like that. I took him from the street to vet so he could help him die without suffering 💔 but vet convinced me to give antibiotics & I agreed 👍 I had this cat later long time with me and he was so lovely empathetic. He passed away at the age of 13. It was great we met :)

My poor kitty had 2 previous owners, one moved to Hawaii and took their dogs but they would not take her. The second one left her outdoors and fed her cheap dry food. By the time I got her she had bladder stones and other wrong things, she was in discomfort all the time and took her to vet once or twice, I even had her wee grave dug but finally I saw she wanted to live so badly I had to help as much as I could. Even though she was 14, I took her to vet 3 times a week for IV's, finally bladder stone removal surgery for $2000, and she lived a year and a half after that. The last heat wave August 2022 and she wasn't strong enough, she died in my arms. But I bought her over a year's worth of time, it was a life-time with this marvelous kitty - I still miss her even now -

I can honestly say that this rescue would probably not have happened in the U.S. That cat would probably have been euthanized. So glad to see that didn't happen. What a transformation!👍

He might have looked worse than he really was. He was very dirty and the ooze out of his infected eye sockets came down on his face and the inability to close his mouth caused dirt to go in and saliva to come out. His face looked swollen, too. It was lucky that Yamal did not have any other bones broken in the accident which hurt him. If a leg or pelvis had been broken, he may not have survived to be rescued. Good food, loving care and appropriate drugs helped him turn around.

It makes me grateful I rescued my cat from the streets 8 years ago. She’s still with me, has hyperthyroidism but I keep her in good health with medication and proper diet. Love seeing animals get a second chance.

Mine also had hyperthyroidism, the last owner didn't want her as an old and sick cat, she said she couldn't take care of her because she was sick, but later we knew she got a dog. Anyway we gave my cat all the love and care we could and survived with us 3 years more, now is in heaven ❤.

I rescued or adopted 5 cats during my 13 years living in Athens Greece. Street cats are a dime a dozen alas. The most recent one we took care of from 2007 is still thriving & is 16 years old. She has had 12 kittens 11 vanished & one remained then after 10 months he too split the gig. People take kittens & cats off the streets & put them into bins or the sea. Horrible. Somehow our vicious remaining cat has managed to elude human predators.

Seeing his eyes at the end, it's clear he got the greatest care in the world. Eye tissue is extremely delicate. The fact they're still so intact after they were infected and covered says alot.

As a cat owner myself it was really hard to watch at the beginning. But after the 7 months he looked so healthy and happy. It really showed what real love and care can achieve from people that actually know what they are doing. It was already healed wrongly itself if you saw his x-ray in the video and, it was hard that he was not able to find the food which is suits his disability. The vets helped as much as they can to reach this level. He took 7 months to recovery since I rescued him but we do not know when exactly he had his accident which caused him this before rescuing. Please check our Facebook page to review his case, disability type and, the steps since I rescued him until his recovery

The little champion didn’t struggle and scratch, just sat there put up with the cleanup procedures like it new they were there to help it.

What a sweet friend. He was behaving exceptionally tolerant at the vet, even though he must have been in a lot of pain. He probably knew they were going to help him and change his life.

@@lapis591 I was thinking the same. He knew he needed help and surrendered after being given the affection he'd been missing for a very long time. Each treatment may have been making him feel a little more comfortable too. I'm so glad he got the chance to become the beautiful boy he was destined to be and I hope he never knows unnecessary suffering again.

I'm not a cat owner..I just like animals..and this little fella was so I'll I had to see what happened to him and how they got him well..but am amazed at how he allowed people to clean him up and treat him..animals as a rule wont easily let you do this so what's the secret.?.I'm impressed !

I cried when I seen how bad this kitty was. Most would have euthanized him without a second thought. Thank you for giving this baby a second chance at life and thank you for showing him what unconditional love is. ❤

Nobody can give him back his vision, but his jaw seems to be in perfect state, at least. I imagine it took feeding him with a syringe for months, to give time for bones to appropriately fuse. If not dying from hunger in the streets, infection would have done him in 😢

Me, too! He is such a handsome baby. So sad that no one ever saw him prior to this and offer help? I's depressing and terrifying to think of all the other babies out there worse off than him and taking their last breath, hopefully finally getting some peace. I just don't get it. Why let this happen? Did they kitty inconvenience someone by being born? Give them to someone or take them somewhere. Don't just leave them to die a miserable death. I wish I have the resources to save all of them. It hurts my heart and soul seeing abused, neglected and injured animals. They are just innocent babies, never hurt anyone, yet they are getting more than hurt in return.💔💔😢😢😢😢

It is how we treat the weakest creatures in our world that defines us. We can do great evil but we can also do this. Whoever took this little cat in has my respect. You are one of the great ones.

I've heard a saying that "how a society treats it's most vulnerable (animals, children, the elderly etc) tells you everything you need to know about who they are as people" and that has always stayed with me. If people would just have even a fraction of the empathy and love this kind human showed to this little guy then the world would be such a beautiful place for everyone.

I did not even believe that cat was living in such a poor condition! He looked beyond help, so thank you for saving him. I thought it was impossible, then the ending was worth watching such a painful situation.

Cats have a far reaching sense of smell-they can smell up to 4 miles away-and hearing, and one of their instincts is their strong will to survive. In other words, this cat shouldn’t have had a problem finding food or water unless it was in the wilderness with savage meat eating animals or a human did that to it on purpose. There’s been quite a few cases of animals being treated badly by people who do these types of videos. I’m just speaking facts. If you’ve seen any documentaries about the cat species or animals, YOU KNOW they’re more capable than they look. It’s evolution by natural selection. Unlike humans, animals have evolved since the dawn of time to survive in harsh conditions. If you think any animal, ESPECIALLY THE CAT SPECIES, will/can go that long without food, you’re ignorant.

Seeing this cat in this state is just utterly heartbreaking....please keep up the good work angels 🙏🏽🙏🏽

@@amberhumphreys807 the markings match, but also when the cat looks up toward the camera, you can see it has a) cloudiness in and damage surrounding both eyes, and b) food dribbling at the corners of its mouth, probably due to the damage to it's jaw. It's an amazing transformation, but I think it's the same cat.

@@reya346 fear not, it’s the same kitty 💜 you see can see the scar tissue on his snoot when he’s eating and his eye sockets are shaped the same. he just got a lil chunkier and grew all his fur back out 🥹 stress+infection will cause a mammal to shed their hair so much, so happy for this kitty 🐈
