The fans who used to criticise Misbah now do unnecessary criticism of Babar and Rizwan who're pillars of our Batting. More than 50% runs of the team during last 3-4 years are made by Babar and Rizwan. Whenever they fail, the team fails. No one criticises Shaheen and other bowlers for not defending 160 against USA. WT20 2024 was the year when our batting, bowling and fielding all three failed as whole but it's only Babar who's getting all the criticism...

Misbah had some attacking batsmen like Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Kamran Kamal, Umar Kamal etc. Babar doesn't have that. Infact Misbah himself was a tuk tuk player...

Misbah was a great player a great middle order batsman and one of the greatest captain world has ever witnessed people blame him for 2007 match but they always forget that he was the one who stood their on crease when all his partners were getting out carelessly on the other end and people really underestimate test cricket of 2010 to 2020 it was a great era of test cricket Australia had pacers like Mitchell marsh and johnson , south africa had steyn , sri lanka had malinga and there were many great bowlers and batsman some of them even had their prime in this decade but misbah clearly outmatched them and lead to Pakistan on #1 in test cricket which is not a small feat at all and his approach was never defensive his approach was calm defensive approach is that if you are losing you lose will to fight back and don't do necessary changes he always does the field changes and sets up risky field to get wickets just like Australia do to pressurized batter and many more decisions made him the best captain Pakistan has got in test history

He was a defencive captain, defencive player . People tend to forget quickly. He has no century in odis after playing so many matches. He used to score runs for himself at low strike rate and never bothered about his team . He even used to dictate terms after becoming the captain.

he didnt have support from the other side, he was the last wicket, he wanted to finish the game and not depend on singles as he couldnt risk it, Misbah was also the reason Pak alomost won that match.
