Marusia Louwerse always stages an electrifying singing performance in which she emotionally transports her adoring audience. She not only sings well; but also unmasks her amicable and affable personality. I suspect the audience is aware of this, most notably Andre, her conductor. Undoubtedly, she is a breath of fresh air in the world of music.

The best part of her voice is that it is so pure and clean and isn't ear shattering like some sopranos.

To compare the voice of a nineteen-year-old girl, whose voice is yet to fully ripen, with that of the mature voice of Sarah Brightman is rather pointless. One is a young girl at the beginning of her career, the other is a mature woman with many years of experience of professional performance, polished to perfection I find them both a joy to see & hear, the one with her freshness & youthful enthusiasm, the other with her professional performance showing her to be an accomplished mistress of her craft! May they both continue to give us years of pleasure with their delightful voices

Michael, at the time of this recording, Mirusia was 24 years old not 19 and considering her impressive sound production, she delivers a world class performance here!!! Further, there is something to be said for enthusiasm since one of the hall marks of Sarah Brightman's younger years was definitely enthusiasm not to mention brazen disreguard for social convention. At this age, Mirusia is demonstrating a vocal maturity that Brightman could not envision much less claim at 24 years old. If you remember, she was crawling around on the floor seductively in leathers to enhance her public recognition/vocal performances whereas Mirusia seems quite comfortable with amazing sound production alone! Only time will tell if Mirusia, also has to resort to a large bag of naughty tricks to keep her singing career relevant but if I had to speculate, I'd bet that when Murisia is in her mid-fifties, any questions of her vocal maturity or peer comparisons will have long ago been laid to rest! To date, Mirusia Louwerse far outshines most who are good enough to just stand and sing. On a lighter note, cheers to the ears that love to listen to them both!!!!

Thanks to you also Michael! You have probably already listened to the English duo Jonathan and Charlotte but I thought I'd throw them out there anyway. Jonathan in my opinion, has a world class tenor sound and range and Charlotte is a great accomponyment for him - especially considering that the two of them were 16 and 17 years old in March 2012 when they auditioned. Their first album "Together" is the best measure of thier abilities and production to date. All the best!

I'm a fan of really heavy music but I can see where it's history lies here. This is a song that lives in my heart. It brings true emotion.
