This is a superb timelapse!! Very well done!! I absolutely love Lake Placid. It and the surrounding areas all have unparalleled beauty in the mountains that make it perfect any time of year.

I like how every year no matter what when it snows over the Icey lake they seem to always keep the same path going across the ice

@@somerandomguy7458 this is Lake Placid, NY - Mirror Lake, not California. It is an amazing little town where 2 winter Olympics were held and home to an Olympic training center. Recommend anyone visit this beautiful area. It really is special.

I was watching to see if the water ever got warm enough to swim in, and although I couldn't confirm if anyone did it, I see by another comment that it can be done by about June.

Yes, people typically start swimming sometime in June when the water temperature hits around 60 degrees.

Usually sometime in June, though it depends on the year.

Yep. January 1st is winter. December 31st is winter. The year starts and ends in winter.
