Miranda has a lot of nerve considering people up front there paid $750 bucks for those seats. She needs to apologize to her fans and those people specifically who she berated.

@@ColinCollinwood I’ve been seeing where ticket, sales places, fluctuate their ticket prices based off of how many have been purchased. So your tickets start at one price but the more popular they get and the more that’s purchased the higher the remaining seat cost. So the first people to buy tickets in specific seating area may pay several hundred dollars less than the person who purchases the last ticket. And then the very last seats available are sometimes several thousand dollars more than what anybody else paid. I don’t know if these are the box offices doing or the performer’s doing. I’ve also seen where some places will not let you purchase a single ticket. You have to buy at least two tickets. You can buy any number that you want above those two tickets but you have to purchase at least a pair of tickets. One woman was saying that there was only one seat left from a concert that she wanted to see and they would not let her purchase it because they were not two seats to buy.

The selfie nonsense is a blatant narcissistic distraction to all of the fans who wanted to see the performer play live. I call out morons both in movie theaters and in concerts to stay out of the way and stop immediately with the phones the moment the phones are distracting either the view or the audio of the performance. I certainly do not buy for a ticket to events to have to put up with idiots distracting a performance. Security agrees with my point of view when there are ignorant phone distractions and demand full stop of phone use, confiscating phones, or dismissal from event.

Hopefully, her fans remember this and stop going to her concerts.

I was in the fan club way back, about when she started her Paws for the Cause benefits in Tyler before she ever met Blake. I had lost a little respect for her years later when I was at a show in TX where she stood in front of her awesome and faithful band and said "well, I started a band...." referring to her involvement in the trio the Pistol Annies. It was a slap in the face to her current band. This tantrum is much worse. When it costs from dozens to hundreds for a ticket you should be able to take as many pictures as you want. Last year at Gary Allan we got a couple awesome selfies with Gary on stage behind us and then he came over and shook hands and signed dozens of items while he was singin g THATS how you treat loyal 20+yr fans, not whining about how much you think they are or arent paying attention. I hope Rick and Beverly scold you accordingly, Ran.

If Miranda really had a problem with fans taking selfies at shows (even though I disagree with her stance) it’s something she could have addressed on her socials later on without calling out specific fans who were probably left crushed. You’d swear she was a boomer with that energy. She should be grateful her fans are so excited to be there that they want a lasting reminder to cherish. They can still listen with their ears, sounds like she just wanted all eyes on her.

Ban phones and cameras at your shows if it bothers you so much, lots of artists do that. But if people don't know about it beforehand they should not have to feel ashamed for taking a photo. However, it does look like they stood up and used flash, therefore possibly distracting or blocking other people's view. They definitely shouldn't have done that (especially if it was against the rules). But whether people agree or disagree on that, the main issue is how Miranda handled it. Unless they were doing this for the whole show there was NO reason to go off like this. They paid a shit ton of money for those seats and made sure she was pictured in the photo as well. To point them out like that is just unnecessarily cruel. You don't know how people might react to that. I have social anxiety and it's hard enough for me to go to a concert, so if it was me I'd be so embarassed, have a panic attack and probably never leave the house again. Also, wasn't there security? Why did they not do anything? Blame them as well. There was no need for that public humiliation. But based on what I've heard and seen about Miranda this doesn't surprise me. Sidenote: I personally would not and could not spend 750$ on concert tickets unless it was Elvis Presley reincarnated. The most expensive tickets I've bought were 250$ and that was Andrea Bocelli.

Imagine going to see a country singer live IN THE FRONT ROW and getting called out and embarrassed because you decided to take a selfie during a performance. If it were something weird/disturbing/perverted, then I'd somewhat get it since that wouldn't be the first time a singer called out a creep in their audience. If it pisses her off, enforce a policy. but stopping your show to berate a bunch of people who paid to sit in the VIP section and take 20 seconds to take a sweet picture to commemorate their time is too much. It’s heart breaking that she would do that to fans that clearly wanted to be there enough to spend that much money and take pictures and make it a family or friends event!!

To me? This is one of these situations where you let security handle this. Sure, there was a no photo rule, but Miranda should just shut it. If it's a bunch of fans screaming over the song, then I get it because that is disruptive while everyone is quiet

It's not okay to throw things at the performers! Travis Tritt had to stop singing Here's a Quarter because fans kept pelting him and his band with quarters. Chris LeDoux used to put a net up when singing his song Copenhagen to stop all the cans from hitting him.

Is it obnoxious they had to take a group pic in the middle of a concert? Yes. But it harsh to embarrass them like that. That prob ruined their night and they paid good money for that. If I was Miranda I would have humorously said, ok girls I better be looking good in that photo in the background! Or something funny, she always seems like shes in a mood nowadays.

I would have walked out too! How ungrateful for her to stop the show and complain about someone taking a selfie at HER concert. They were there and happy to be there and just having something to remember the night they paid their money for and to enjoy the moment. Be thankful she didn’t get hit in the face with a cellphone. Hell if I was there and Miranda responded like that honestly I wish I had a deck of cards and started a poker game!

This is ridiculous. Those fans paid for those seats and this may have been a once in a lifetime event for them, so yeah they are going to take a picture during the concert to capture the moment. The fact that Miranda stopped mid song to literally call them out and shame them in front of the entire audience for taking a picture to capture an important memory for them at her concert is appalling. I’ve seen some musicians literally photobomb fan’s selfies during their concerts, not shame them and make them feel like shit. I would’ve walked out if I was one of those women. She’s only as famous as she is because of her fans. I heard people are boycotting her concerts and honestly I’m glad. She doesn’t deserve her fans or her fame since she’s so damn full of herself. Plus her music isn’t even that good. I never understood what all the hype was. I literally only like one song by her.

It was a group of ladies taking a group photo for a show they probably were excited to see, only to be scolded by a big-headed celebrity who thinks world revolves around them all the time. I am not surprised they left the show, not worth supporting such celebrities. Let these big-ego celebrities learn the hard way that fans can break them just as easily as they made them.

I have epilepsy and it affects my memory. I take videos without looking at the camera in shows, and also take a couple pictures to remember. Shaming your fans is wrong, and you never know their reason. They could have taken that for a friend that couldnt make it or as a reminder that they made it to see her… My point is, you never know and shaming publicly someone it is really not okay. Im disappointed
