@@Dragonfury3000 so next time you go to a concert don’t bring your phone or camera if that’s how you feel but most people since the age of dawn have brought some kind of recording device even just audio to remember their favourite artists on stage, especially younger crowds, I’m sure fans of Elvis, Beatles,and many more have done this, but someone like her who is and I have heard she not a very nice person she has a history of being this way. She is lucky she has a fan base, I’m sure there are many artists out there would love to have her fan base because she sure don’t appreciate them, just their money. It goes with the territory of being an artist, people are going to take photos unless you totally ban all recording devices it’s never going to stop. Just remember these people are excited to see this artist and they are living in the moment and want pictures to show that, even if it’s for internet clout they are excited and she should be grateful, promotion for her tour, sharing with others who can’t afford $700 a seat it doesn’t matter what or why they want to do this it’s their moment.

It's all about having some common sense just take some pictures with no flash and record a 30sec clip and enjoy the show. The fanatics that keep everything recorded and all that don't even realize their not even enjoying the moment for themselves.

I think people should be able to do whatever they want at a concert as long as they are not causing trouble. It should have been enough for Miranda that these ladies purchased tickets to her concert, but it doesn’t mean that their attention has to be on her the entire time, what a diva

Is it being diva? It wasn't too long ago that Justin Bieber walked out on an audience because they were singing along with his songs. When he asked them to stop and they didn't he walked out. He later said he couldn't concentrate. You have to know that when any artist(s) performs they also need to focus precisely because they're performing before people who paid good money for tickets. But if the audience begins to take pictures, to talk on their phones, to sing along...it distracts.

Chicago cubs park had a/DC the crown trashed the place so bad that they were thinking of not having any more concerts there they changed there minds and just had a mellow singer preform there .me as a singer I always welcomed pics at my concerts I don't mind at plays to but, people have problems with this they don't want that they really want u to buy there posed pics I remember Pam Tillis singing autographs and she hated signing pics she didn't pose for she claims she looks ugly .she isn't but ,she said that not me I thinks she looks delightful

It is on the venue rules ,Miranda requested no cameras with flashes at her performance, they were using a flash. I have been to several of her concerts, she's very attentive to what is going on out in the audience, flashes are distracting to her and others trying to watch her.

That's a crock! I went to two Elvis Presley concerts and flash pics were happening ALL over the venues. NO body was upset and nobody on stage was "distracted". THIS concert diva was just being an elitist!

So moral of the story if you are rich and can afford to be in the front you can ruin the experience for everybody else by taking a million selfies with a flashing light according to Sunny this is what is wrong with the world these days nobody wanted to enjoy the experience they just wanted to document it for clout purpose and its rude period .

Taking a selfie helps to memorize the moment for years to come.

Those concert ticket are getting outrageous. Only for the wealthy it seems, no hard working individual with bills, student loans, and kids will ever be able to see anther live show.

Everybody else in the audience paid for their ticket also. So maybe they would like to see Miranda and enjoy the show without look at them.

Most concerts note require before the show if they want you to put their phones away.. they’re trying to get it back where ppl can enjoy the show especially when their paying so much $. But they’ll say it before the show begins not during the show.. another thing allot if ppl when their told only during the shoe put your phones away -it’s a safety hazard bc it’s blinding to the security and ppl in the crowd. Ppl are loving the fact they enforce these rules not they say they have a GREAT time actually being able to see the performance and actually be in the moment instead of all the phones on ALL the time. Should she have gone about it a different east-ABSOLUTELY. But everyone is ALWAYS on their phone’s all the time. And again it’s a safety hazard. But like I bc said they usually starts it before the shows AND give you certain times when you can take the selfie. I know I wouldn’t want to be seeing ppls phones the whole time no matter how much I paid but even more if I paid for more expensive tickets (that’s just my opinion) but again with all the ppl that we’re getting hurt and even more horrible things it’s considered a safety hazard.

Great points!! I was in Las Vegas in May for a few shows. No cameras allowed for Cirque du Soleil. THAT makes a lot of sense because they’re acrobats for goodness sakes! I took quite a bit of video footage of Ringo and Barry Manilow shows. No problem whatsoever. There was someone beside me that was told to turn off the bright light switch of her cellphone, that makes sense. But a reg video light on a phone w all those other blinding lights that come fr the stage hardly make a diff! I’ve always had a much bigger problem sitting/standing behind very tall people or those who keep talking during a song!

Before everyone had access to a fancy camera on their phone and social media , photographs of performers used to be worth $$$ So, cameras were banned except the photographers who paid the rights to be there. That's the way I've always understood it.

Artists should learn to embrace this crap, rather than fight it. If someone isn't fully engaged in the music, that's THEIR problem. A few of the artists I follow have even taken the fan's phone up on stage and taken pics FOR them ! No interruption of the show. Everyone's happy.

God forbid a concert goer take a novelty selfie with their favorite singer. It might chip away at the money that pays for multiple mansions, vacation villas, private planes and a privileged life. So what if they don't give their undivided attn every moment along the way. Allowing photography other than professional has always been disrespectful to the artist. Most venues don’t allow photography. People need to live in the moment anyway, if I were her tho I probably wouldn’t have stopped the show over it.

There’s no way on earth I would spend a small fortune to attend in person what I can hear better for free any day of the week out of the comfort of my own home . Anyone who takes pictures or records live music while they are supposed to be watching an intimate experience shouldnt be at a concert in the forst place. Blows my mind when people watch the concert through their phone screens

That's so dumb. People want to have a memory of the experience. Taking a photo does no harm. How many photographers were at the concert snapping pictures so she could look back at her performance as well. There isn't anything wrong with capturing a memory

Agreed. Very disrespectful to the performer. It isn't a bar or pub. She probably wouldn't have said anything if they hadn't been using their flash. That can be dangerous to the performers on a stage.

The fan didn’t cause trouble ruining the atmosphere for others. Not even noise, confetti, smoke etc. then it should be fine….. and 700 dollars should be reason why she wants to tell the world she went to concert and had good time

That's too bad for the paying customers. I hope they learned not to waste their hard earned cash on any one else that doesn't realize an experience is individually made. Lambert is slow for thinking she was the only one present 😂😂😂😂 Ego has ruined many.

I can think of better ways to spend $750.00. I wouldn't spend that kind of money to see anyone.

For God sake, one uses his hands and eyes to take a selfie, not his ears. Ears are still working and LISTENING while doing that.

I can think of alot of things to spend 700 dollars on and seeing Miranda lambert is not even close one of them

Where can I find a clip without the annoying commentary, butcher edits and interruptions ?

It's a shame Whoopi didn't stick to acting, she made more sense when someone else was writing her words for her.
