The longest bonus I've ever had was also the biggest. I was at the Golden Gate playing Heidi and Hannah's Bier Hall, and initially I won 38 free spins. About that time the cocktail waitress came over and took my order. When she returned, she said, "still going, huh?". The game retriggered a few times with double digit spins - I lost track - and just kept plodding along. She eventually came back and said, "Oh! Another bonus?" and took my order again. The bonus lasted about 45 minutes long, and I won about $1100; just low enough to not get a W2-G. The game was so loud, everyone eventually left the area. ;)

I’ve had that game max out at 100 free spins two different times

The Mirage tram was a savior from the 120 degree temps. It helped a lot when staying at the Mirage and venturing North strip. You could pretty much stay indoors all the way to the walkway from TI to fashion show

These videos are my favorite part of Friday.

I once got over 500 free spins playing max bet ($4.50) on a Konami Quest for Riches slot. The free games went on for at least an hour. On this one, the compasses are the free spin trigger. I pretty much filled the screen. During the free spins I earned at least 200 additional free spins. The grand total was $3,229.00.

Excellent show as usual. Jokers Wild used to be known for their excellent 99 cent sirloin steak at midnight. I ate one more than once, but it was back in the 1990s. A friend said it was $1.99. I honestly can't remember. I used to go there on Saturdays for lunch with a group of friends. There was a good salad bar. We were all video poker players and had much fun and a few big wins. I remember us always being lucky at KENO while eating lunch. The Cannery is a real mystery. For a while it was packed, but around 2015 it started to slack off. The buffet was pretty good but they closed it and would send you to Sam's Town. Sam's Town Buffet was excellent - thanks to the prime rib.

I think Boyd Gaming just sort of cut the legs out from the Cannery in favor of Sam’s Town. There was no need for them to own both: Joker’s Wild kind of sits off on its own and could do well with a redo.

I like the new carpet at the Rio. It was always dark in there. I had 45 spins on Buffalo Gold and made a little over a thousand dollars. So much fun!

@milestomemories Cannery Casino & Hotel (North LV) is still open. You guys kept saying the Cannery is closed and that had me tripping because I used to live down the road from it until almost two years ago now, and it was, and is, still open. You're referring to Eastside Cannery. Those of us who weren't born and bred in LV need that distinction lest we be confused. I never got over to Eastside Cannery and only learned of it about probably around the time it closed, which is probably why it didn't register when you were talking about it in this video. Cannery is very, very much a locals casino. It was cool to drive right down Craig Road on a Friday or Saturday night, hit the Italian restaurant in there, and gamble a bit.

Omg, i love the 3 am to 6 am hours. People watching is lit in a way you can't explain. I love it!!

I love the Rhino Charge game, I got over 400 super free games (8 reels per spin). Won just under $1200. It lasted about an hour. Was the min bet I think. i didn't get the Unicow, but got a bonus on Raiders from the Planet Moolah which kept giving me more free games and went on for a full 45 minutes! I was worried I was going to miss the show I was attending at the Mirage (Ron White)! In the end I got $471 on a 75 cent bet, and I made it to the show on time.

I don't recall how many games I got, but I do remember it was on a Tabasco machine at the Rio, and I played for almost an hour because I kept winning bonus games. (The Rio slots were always good to me, back in the day. Nice to see the Rio getting refurbed.)

Just got back from Vegas. As a MGM platinum member, we have been getting $600 cash for one airline ticket per year. Rewards just notified me next year MGM will give $600 free play, no longer cash. I’m pissed because this is a dig at premier rewards members, as free play costs MGM nothing and takes the real cash benefit away. Shame on MGM, with record profits taking away one real benefit from platinum members. Cash is not the same as free play, which must be gambled at MGM properties. I’m definitely considering just doing Gold membership starting next year.

I didn't know about that - thanks for sharing. I'm not so mad about it being freeplay. I do NOT like that they only reimburse for 1 ticket, and I usually fly one-way because I move dates, or fly in and out of other cities sometimes. If I have a to and a from ticket, I wish they would just add the together so I could get closer to $600 especially when I'm going 8-9 trips per year. Otherwise I'll just have to pay full price for Delta Comfort or FC to get the full $600. I'm too spoiled with upgrades to spend it...

Free play costs them less than 600 but costs them pretty close to it.

Speaking of inflation, my eyeballs damn near popped out of my skull tonight when I saw the burger price at Fatburger in the foodcourt of the Venetian. It was $22! You can literally go to Grand Luxe, get better food and full service and eat an entire entree for that price. Needless to say, there was no one eating at Fatburger. No wonder that company is closing locations and not doing well. Fast food is supposed to be cheap.

Without the Colorado Bell Laughlin has lost a lot of its appeal. The river walk is detoured around the Colorado Bell property. 6pm 108 degrees, no beer at the Bell!

Right in front of luckley’s (replaced all American), where the Table games are now use to be a lower ceiling with what looked like a shell. The Rio new ceiling looks so much better. The new carpet is for sure making the place brighter.

It’s good to see the Rio getting upgraded, and sad to see the Mirage go. They were barely a year old the first time i went to Vegas. But so many places have come and gone in 30+ years. And it’s really good seeing more ‘locals’ casinos getting nicer. Nice enough to draw locals who don’t wan’t the full Strip experience and for vacationers that want a taste but not the madhouse.

Unfortunately it seems like there’s just not a lot of benefit to visit Laughlin anymore. You can sports bet on your phone and plenty of states have local casinos where you can play live table games. It will be interesting to see how Laughlin navigates this next phase of its existence. Thanks for the great content you guys! 😁👍🏼

I gotta say, the air conditioning is out of control in these Vegas Casinos. I brought all these summer clothes, thinking it was going to be hot af. I am freezing my ass off! I should have packed for winter and brought a down jacket! It is really unpleasant and jarring on the body to go from 100 degrees outside to like 60 degrees inside.

My longest bonus was on Invaders of the Planet Moolah, I hit the Unicow bonus earning 400 free spins. During the 400 free spins it retriggered granting an addition 200 free games over the duration of the original 400. For 600 free games, on a 0.75 bet. Walked away with 800 bucks, the machine button was broken and the bottom got locked, so there was no skipping any spins and I was there for around 2.5 hours.

After last night on the strip; Vegas will probably post record numbers for this summer. I've never seen it so busy on a hot summer Friday. The stadium with events like soccer and the sphere are really having an impact.

I hit a Pharoah type machine back in 2010-ish and got over 30 free games and I don't remember exactly how much I won, but I am certain it paid more than double digits. 😂

Just stayed at the Rio in room 333 and have been waiting for the hotel to send a guest survey or something so I could give them a proper review of my stay. I got nothing. The "renovated" room as I assume all of the "renovated" rooms are, is only partially renovated. New carpet, new TV's, new mini fridges, new sofas, and headboards. The phones may have been new. The bathrooms, hmmm... I think the shower may have been kind of new as when I've previously stayed at the Rio, the rooms I stayed in all had the tub/shower all-in-one combo. Room 333 just had the shower stall, which was fine, except you had to damn near break your arm to turn the damn thing on. Whenever you turn on the sink in the bathroom, it sounded like the beating of a metal drum in the sink in the vanity area. Lastly, the toilet in Room 333 is not bolted to the floor! That meant that it moved every time you sat on it! The O ring is probably about gone due to that, so every morning around the time everyone in line of that room took a dump, the bathroom smelled like an outhouse that was past due a dozing over. I never knew of or stayed at Rio in it's heyday and I really hope the new owners are able to get it back to what it once was. My overall stay was decent, but I am really hoping at some point that they do a true gut remodel of the plumbing and rooms. I like where they are going with the casino floor and some of the restaurants. The Chinese restaurant there is great, I've always loved the food and service. Glad to see that the Tavern replaced the previous restaurant that was there because that place had gotten really bad. That sports book and that nasty little restaurant that serves it has to go asap. It's just dirty, and the food and service has been horrible for years. Also, the wi-fi has not been properly reset by the new owners, and it is NOT secure. Lots of middle-aged and seniors stay at Rio in addition to a fair amount of the younger crowd. There were, however, far too many children at the property overall (running and screaming thru the halls and in the rooms between 1:30am and 3:45am) and roaming thru the casino floor while I was there. I really wish casinos had child-free floors and kept all children on the lower floors. Having children beside and/or above you acting a fool is beyond annoying. Would love to see a huge Brazilian churrascaria and other Brazilian restaurants (maybe something more upsacle) on the property. Fingers crossed and hoping that the new owners will keep updating the property until they finally get it back to what it once was.

Profit on gaming revenue is most certainly higher now than pre-sniffles virus. As a local player I used to get tons of free stuff, food, hotel rooms, hundreds in free slot play, etc. That is close to nothing at this point. Staffing maybe more expensive on the casino floor, but there are a lot less staff. Room costs are up, but room rates are up more. Food costs are up, but menu prices are up. The casinos are making huge bank in spite of inflation, do not feel sorry for them!

Pizza Rock is actually a solid pizza, but idk if its top 50 world wide. Its not even the best pizza in Vegas, I would give that to Grimaldi's , but they have a coal oven so that's a huge advantage. Not hating on Pizza Rock, still love there pizza, just a weird list forsure.

To get to most trams are at the far back of the casinos with entrances tucked away somewhere in a corner. By the time you get there you could have walked to the next casino.

Great jackpot! 872 seems worthy of that many games although that is a ton! I think it would have been more fun if she had been hitting some stuff but most of that money was won on a couple of spins and then it was just deadness.
