@@backapalanka8406 Mirage 2000 has higher stall resistance than Mig29. Only thing the Mirage pilot has to watch is not to engage Mig 29 in turning fight.

5:46 есть недостаток в экипировке техников. Надо носить шлемак на голове. Я техник самолета Миг-21 в ВВС СССР. Тоже обслуживал без шлемака целый год. Потом рассек голову о самолет, о его какую-то острую часть. Пришлось принимать от летчика замечания после полета со струйкой крови на лице. Выглядело геройски, но к чему это?

Is the Mirage mission different than that of the Rafale?

They perform the same missions and fulfill the same roles within the French Air Force, both are capable of Nuclear Strike, both are capable of air-to-air and air-to-ground operations. The difference is that Mirage 2000 are 4th generation single-engine multirole aircraft while the Rafale is a -5th- 4.5 generation twin-engine so the Rafale is obviously better in all aspect. Another difference is that the French military wanted the Rafale to be operated by both the French Air Force and the Naval Air Group of the French Navy which isn't the case of any Mirage. The remaining 100 or so Mirage 2000 are being steadily replaced by Rafales EDIT: corrected the promotion to 5th gen I gave to the Rafale in my sleepwalk. It's definitely a 4.5 gen.
