Those are the toughest driveshafts made for Slash 4x4…… when assembled correctly. Thanks Nolan.

I have the mip’s on my slash and have not broken them but the set screws come loose. I bought some long set screws and drilled the traxxas output shaft holes larger for the set screw to go clear through and no more problems.

The only problem with the mip axle’s are the pins do come out from driving and bashing… I fixed mine by putting clear fingernail polish on both sides of the pins… it’s working great so far..

Thanks for the great vidoes. Im just getting into the rc world. Got a traxxas slash 4x4. Drive shafts are expensive but think be worth it. Just went through a set of the traxxas upgraded plastic ones. Seems like all of them break at the ear of the yokes. Not sure if rocks are hitting them or just the torgue of 3s battery power. Was wondering if you had a vidoe on shock positions. Still trying to figure out best position for a better ride and handling. Thanks again for all your information.

The more leaned down the shocks are the better it will handle so the inner most hole on the shock tower and outermost on the suspension arms…..yeah the plastic gets fatigued and breaks right at the ear of the yokes…..that’s a constant issue with those style of plastic driveshaft
