A little tip for yellowing is hydrogen peroxide and a uv light. It'll take the yellowing right off.

I had that Matchbox one as a kid! Okay, I lie, I had it as a kid... and I still have it. It's on my 'Ferrari' shelf and nobody shall take it away from me! Nice work. I was a little doubtful, but it turned out well!

Wow I had the exact same one. Everytime I see toys on youtube that I used to own I wonder where they are and when I have last seen them.

I used to have both this and the Hot Wheels one when I was younger, and always preferred the proportions of the Matchbox better, wide instead of long.

I Will always remember when i had a large collection of matchbox cars and my older friends would invite me to take all the cars outside so we could play together. Every time they would steal and remove the paint at home so that I wouldn't recognize them later. But I recognized my cars whenever I went to them. There were dozens of them.

An excellent restoration with minor mods that make it look fantastic. Wish I had it in my collection

Nice restoration. This is the first vid on this channel I've seen, so I'm not sure if it has been done before, but yellow'ed windscreen/window part can be improved using hydrogen peroxide and UV lights. There are many vids here on youtube showing how to remove yellowing of plastic using that method.

I took the hot wheels four wheeler apart when I was a kid in the 80s and used slot car wheels and tires on it. It looked bad a$$ after that. Miss those days.

Amazing job. My only complaint is that rear decal is slightly off-center, and that would drive me nuts, but other than that, stellar work.

Masking up the wheel centres to paint the rest of the barrel in chrome silver was an obsessive level of precision.

Nice paint job, not sure of skirts, lose them over first speed bump😉

That's beautiful. I ise to the 1/18 scale cars. The auto arts cars were the best ones to do. I can redo any 1/18 scale car but I don't do them any more. It was a nice expensive hobby.

Excellent work on this gorgeous Ferrari Testarossa! I remember seeing these for the first time back in the 80s and finding them to be very cool and I'm a Porsche fan! Do you remember the white Testarossa Don Johnson drove in Miami Vice?!

If I remember right, these windshields were yellow when new. Matchbox did that a lot.
