Minnie and the Beanstalk | Dissociative Identity Disorder

Ойын-сауық

Happy 4th of July!!! Today is my cat, Grrr's birthday, because I'm actually sick today, I decided to go ahead and post a clip of Minnie watching Mickey and the Beanstalk. I was hoping to make a video of Grrr for his birthday but I'm just really not feeling up to it. I'll have to make it up to him.

I'm a mom of 2, a 6yo and a 3yo and it's crazy how your mannerisms and movements are exactly like a toddler. This makes me have no doubt in my mind that DID exists, when I see this I genuinely see a child.

I said the same thing on a separate minnie video when someone expressed doubt! Just certain movements, her fidgeting 😂 and the way she answers questions... it's all impossible to just make up on the spot. I never doubted her for a single moment, but I do consciously note little details that support my belief in her condition. On the other video I watched, she would use the back of her hand to clumsily push her hair out of her face, unlike a grown woman who would neatly or at least efficiently finger comb it back, you know?! She also tried on a sleeping beauty costume dress and didn't know to use the little loops on the sleeves to put over her fingers to keep the sleeves over her wrists, know what I mean? Her friend had to show her how to use them. She also just says exactly the things my niece would say in response to all sorts of things. It's amazing that this little girl really is in there with her. 💙

Oh and I watched her interview on medcircle, and she was telling the interviewer about the park and was I think describing how she used the slide? Anyway she took her hand and just pointed in a big circle and told him "and I would go.... like THAT" and expected it to make COMPLETE sense to him which was SPOT ON what little kids do when they describe actions with really vague hand movements like it explains everything 😂 I was dying! So precious!

The way she touches her throat during goofy's song about "eat 'n eat 'n eat until I die" is because you see his Adam's apple bobbing in that part, I totally remember it and used to do the same thing 😂

I work with 4YO's, and used to work with younger, mini seems like a young three to me, it's insane how exact her mannerisms are to that of a three year old. Which should be proof enough for any that DID isn't bullshit and each alter is legitimately another person more or less. You'd have to be such a skilled actor to be able to get the hand motions, random fidgeting, noises, etc down to a tee like that. Minnie is straight up just a typical three year old. It's really cool that Encina allowed us all to view this clip of Minnie.

I have a three year old nephew and minnies mannerisms are exactly like my nephews. I’ll be honest, I have always been a skeptic about DID but observing this I just don’t see how anyone could “make up” a 3 year olds behavior so exact and so consistent.

I love it that's how I know she's not bullshiting and people think it's fake they're stupid me having a three-year-old I can accurately predict what she does right before she does it and it happens I'm here I'm here for you and everyone else inside of you so many I'm proud of how courageous she is as well

I can honestly say from watching Minnie in your videos , she is truly a little girl that is just full of joy and happiness. She is her own spirit and person. I am very thankful for your videos and just being so brave to put your story out there in helping others understand dissociative identity disorder. It is truly amazing and I definitely feel as if Minnie is your little girl , like you said , you just don't pick her up and physically interactive but you totally protect her just like a mom and it's just simply amazing ! 💜💖

So enlightening. Thank you for sharing this. You are so brave. I also think the people who watch your channel seem to be so understanding and supportive. Kudos to all of you in the comment section for your respect. In an Internet world where you can hide behind a firewall, I could envision things going sideways. From the few dozen comments I read, it didn't. That is awesome.

First I would like to say… What wonderful friends you have. You must have an abundance amount of trust in them. To allow them to watch Minny while she is out and about. I’m amazed. Minny is, or seems to always behave. Are there times when she cries or misbehaves, if so, how do your friends handle the situation?

Hi! I'm a nanny for a 3.5 year old and 1.5 year old :) It makes me so happy to see Minnie getting to be a kid and play and not be shunned away. I wonder if Encina knows much about early childhood education? I was thinking if Encina knows the parts of development a three year old is interested in, Minnie might have loads of fun with rich activities for the age! I'm sure she is getting plenty of fun as it is, but just thought that she might be even more fulfilled if Encina does a bit of early childhood education :) :) totally you do you though!! Maybe Minnie wouldn't like this! Just a suggestion :)

I’m obviously here very late but I’m happy this KZread channel is going to be active again. I have a question that obviously does not require a response because it’s rather personal. But, is Minnie a trauma holder? She is so adorable and happy all the time. I honestly feel honored that she is shared with us and it’s heart warming that she gets to front just to watch a movie she loves with her friends.

They’re called littles since they’re stuck at the age of abuse (usually way younger). It’s a vicious cycle repeated in their minds. The thing is is that littles don’t normally have any recollection of those memories. There’s usually a protector or “gate keeper” if you will that guards those memories AND littles. Like in Dissociadid’s system, she has quite a few littles. Jade is the gate keeper which protects her littles.

Jennifer B right but not all littles are trauma holders.

  • @savagealleycat

Jennifer B sorry, hit send early. But there are littles, like in piñata’s system, that do hold trauma not just the gate keepers or protectors. I sure hope Minnie has no recollection but this disorder is so complex and it truly hurts me to know how it develops. Thank you for your input! ☺️
